Summary
Slowly he raised the scissors to his soft curls; the sounds of the scissors snipping and cutting his hair echoed in the quiet walls of his bedchamber, the sounds of snipping and hair falling to the stone floors repeated in the silence of his chamber; as Bilbo cut one last stray curl, a sudden wail of shock brought his attention to the now open door of his chamber.
He abruptly turns his attention to the door to see Fili and Kili running quickly at his direction, as Kili quickly took the scissors from his hands, he opened his mouth to protest about the rudeness of their actions, but he was cut off by Fili yelling “Bilbo! What are you…” Fili stopped mid-sentence, as he and Kili stared at Bilbo with eyes wide and full of worry. They both stand in front of him with wide eyes and feet frozen on the spot.
Bilbo sat there on his chair, confused with Fili and Kili's action. “What are you two doing barging in and stealing my scissors?” Bilbo questioned with an air of irritation from them rudely taking the scissors he had borrowed from Dori.

Summary
For five years Thorin Oakenshield has lived in the Shire with absolutely no memory of who he was before he woke up in the care of Bungo and Belladonna Baggins. Deciding to stay in the Shire, Thorin is happy, and tries to not think much about his past. Right now, he is best friends with Bungo and Bella, and he'd have it no other way.
