Summary
After losing contact with his longest friend, the death of his parents and having to raise his younger sister, Kenma can say that he’s finally having a pretty good life, with amazing new people in it to forget about the old ones, he thinks he’s ready to forgive and move one.
That’s it until he sees Kuroo Tetsuro’s in a train station after eight years, dark eyeballs, pale skin and dirty clothes with a crying baby in his arms.
Life really seems to be ironic for him sometimes.

She had been proud too, once. She didn’t know when exactly her arrogance had fallen to the wayside. Perhaps, it was when she, disillusioned and seeking death, had first laid eyes on Nico battered and bruised and still fiercely defiant. It was reckless, vengeful defiance but he refused to be cowed by the Giants. Already bearing the marks of their torture, she had been ashamed that it took this lone demigod to represent the dignity of the Gods of Olympus. He had refused to die, stubbornly clinging to life as his only rebellion. She had heard of the Battle of Tartarus, knew that all his closest compatriots had been killed, heard him crying their names as he slept and mourned for them in her own way.
• Nico in all this fic: I’m so fucking tired.
Ok but seriously!! Give him a break!! He’s the best here tho, he literally has the weight of the whole world on his shoulders while also so much unresolved trauma of having seen all his loved friends and family die. He’s ready to throw his life away to save everyone and that’s such a canon Nico thing to do!
I love this fic very much, the plot is great and the writing, relationships and characterization is amazing ! <3 And I also really love even if it hurts me that Nico was called “The Last Loyal Demigod”

I loved this!!! It’s about grief, and moving on, and healing and letting go over the sadness that surrounds you when you lose someone. The development of Nico and Will’s relationship it’s beautiful, they are starting to know each other and they have to work for it to work, and they talk and they fight and they make up and it’s great. Nico’s personal healing was my favorite thing as well, i loved that it focuses on the fact that he was moving on for /himself/ not for anyone else, and that’s a thing that i think we don’t see Nico do in the first two chapters, he doesn’t do things for himself, he only did it for others, waking up for Bruce, trying to act normal for his friends, and even starting college for Jason. It’s great to see him have that self love again <3

Like the sun coming out after a long winter, Nico grinned: it was gummy, and full, and it made his eyes dissapear and it made Tony realize all at once he was going to do this, mistakes or not, because he had to keep this kid in his life.
• This fic is so good !!! I adore Nico here, and also how much Steve, Nat and Tony already love him and want to take care of him. The fact that Tony is like “idc anymore about anything, I need this kid in my life” is adorable, and that as soon as he can he’s updating his will to leave Nico 51% of the shares. Also !! Nico’s whole character is perfect here, it shows how smart, resilient and stubborn he is, but also how’s he’s just a kid and i love him
