Leon smiled and retreated until his head hit the pillow and lolled to one side where he could focus on Luis, tired and prepared for sleep to overtake him, but Luis must have had other plans. He rolled onto his side and embraced Leon, hands snaking around him, one arm beneath his head and the other curled around his abdomen. “You never tell me about these,” he sighed, fingers brushing against another scar at his hip. “I want to know about this one.”

In he pushed and, despite the fact that he had expected a greeting, Luis made no sound when the front door squealed on its hinges. Leon walked into the kitchen to put down the bags and found Luis at the stove, gentle music playing over a record player. He sat the food down on the countertop and slotted his head into the space between Luis's neck and shoulder, his hands coming to meet around his waist. He hummed and sank into him, the stress suddenly far from his mind when he was so close to Luis that he could smell his natural scent, rich and heady.
"Easy, cariño," Luis warned, "stove's hot."

"Mm-hmm," Leon hummed, his breath hot against Luis's skin. Luis reached to toy with his hair, brushing back stray strands and combing through his blond hair. He settled into the touch, a content little sigh escaping his lips when neatly trimmed nails dragged against his scalp.

Leon was broken out of his bored state when he felt something brush against his leg under the table. He looked up to Luis, about to ask if he had felt it too, when he noticed him pointedly avoiding his gaze. It happened again, and he let out an amused chuckle when he recognized the feel of leather under his pant leg. "Seriously?"
"Hm? I'm afraid that I have no idea what you're talking about." Again, he ran the tip of his shoe against Leon's skin, the hair on his legs tingling as the stiff material brushed against it. He kept eye contact now, clearly enjoying the bit of manageable chaos he was causing. Leon nudged him with his own foot, and it made him feel like a teenager again, all nerves and awkwardness on his first date. His cheeks warmed when he caught the smirk spread across Luis's face, unable to stop himself from smiling back.
