His chest feels funny. Both light and heavy at the same time. For some reason, it's hard to breathe. Sakura manages to walk all the way to the mouth of the alleyway before he stops in his tracks. The back of his neck burns.
Sakura peeks over his shoulder, and finds that Togame is still in the same position on the roof. His eyes are undoubtedly drawn to Sakura. When their gazes meet, Togame lazily waves at him. It's hard to tell from this distance, but he seems to be smiling. Sakura barely nods before he jerks forward, unable to look at Togame any longer.
The pain in his chest doesn't let up for hours.
