The Jedi Order are not allowed to interfere with the planet's machinations without explicit evidence of Separatist influence. Young Republic spy, "Luke Lars" is tasked with monitoring and uncovering any such deeds.

After a childhood and early adulthood spent as a member of a Boy Band, Luke's life is turned upside down when his status as a transman is revealed to the world. Ousted from his group and without an Agent, Luke is taken in by Boba Fett and the members of the Mythosuars. With his new freedom and the influence of his new rockstar friends slash brothers, Luke begins to explore life as a free adult and what comes with living away from his Father's influence.

Luke is one of those people, and he lets out a nervous laugh of his own, “I don’t hear from you for a week, and now… here you are. Do I need to bring cash to bail you out?” he asks.

He was talking with urgency, but his voice got lost in the wind howling in Din’s ears. The storm cracked above them, rain suddenly washing down Din’s face. His bare face. The Jedi leaned closer, the warmth of his face now so close Din could feel it on his cheek. His last words rang loud and clear in Din’s mind before he woke up with a start.
“Find me.”

A few weeks after Din entrusts Luke with Grogu, both men are awoken by a dream that does not feel like a dream.

It was obvious in their late nights on the Falcon, Luke’s eyes drawn with longing as he gazed out of the viewport, towards some star Han couldn’t see. The melancholy that was cloaked about him in the way that a laugh never fully reached it’s height or a smile never filled in. The urgency that ran through Luke to destroy the Empire at whatever cost. No one just did that because they wanted to return to a lonely life; Luke had someone. A person, or many, that would miss the farm boy if tragedy were to strike and he never made it home.
