Jason pulled his knees into his chest, wrapping his arms around himself in a hug. He felt his chin wobble and buried his face down. It wasn’t fair. Bruce promised this would stop. It was one of the whole reasons Bruce pulled him off the streets! But maybe he just meant guys in alleyways. The rules could be different in the hero world.

Raspberry red, he stares, like blood. Everything is a trigger, because everything is filtered through his own head, the crazy is coming from inside the house.
"Okay." Jason shrugs easily. Too easily. "Just tell me if you need me to do or not do anythin'. 'Cause, like, you look like you could use a hug. Or a warm bath or somethin'."
As if Tim isn't holding himself back from destroying everything, destroying Jason. Wrapping his hands around Robin's throat and crushing it like the cookies on the table.

Summary
Jason stopped holding back and let out a whine as he cried. He needed to tell his dad. Even if his dad made fun of him and called him a pussy. Jason couldn’t do it again. He hated that his voice came out in his sharp ragged breaths, “I didn’t like it.”
His dad’s hand stilled from where it had been smoothing away his tears. Jason looked up into his eyes expecting to find anger there. Instead, there was nothing but hurt and worry, “Jason? What happened?”
Jason told him everything.
An hour later, Jason’s dad was storming out of the house with a gun tucked in his waist band. Jason never saw him again.Jason's dad goes to jail protecting him. After he dies, Jason is left feeling the weight of it all.

Summary
Wally West has been the Flash for only a few months after his uncle sacrifices himself to save the world. Barry had been a hero. Wally's just trying to get by. After a long day, Wally goes for a standard run that leads him stumbling across a badly beaten Robin. He saves him. He has no idea yet, but this changes everything.
Snippet:
"No-" Wally's voice is rough with lingering dredges of sleep. It's hard to imagine less than an hour ago, he had been counting sheep in his borrowed bed. He clears his throat and tries again, pleading urgently with the nurse, "I'm alright. Please focus on the boy."'Boy.' Jason is only fifteen, Wally's pretty sure. Tiny. Powerless. He should call Batman and demand answers. Why is Robin in Ethiopia and not Gotham? Where were you? He doesn't remember Barry questioning Batman's authority often. But Barry would've never let Kid Flash be in another country alone with no teammates and no mentor.

In a voice small enough that Tim has to strain to hear it above the water, Jason says, “Okay.”
