Yaoyorozu often said to her that she had a pretty voice, causing her to get embarrassed and flustered (which Denki found adorable). But the thing was, he had never heard her sing himself.
It was a beautiful sound.

She scoffs, watching him spill from the windowsill onto her worn flooring. “No, you don’t get to come in after pulling shit like that,” she asserts, as if Nightwing of all people listens to her. Unsurprisingly, he laughs and beelines for her kitchen, the blue-black of his suit reflecting dully off the TV.
“Listen, the meeting practically fell in my lap.”
Stephanie stares at the blackened screen and tries to crush that pit inside her before it spills out, before it ruins both their nights all at once.
“Convenient,” is all that fits through her jaws—and she knows she’s given it away. She is rolling over long-rotten corpses once carefully stowed. Skeletons neither of them want to see.Or, Steph and Dick work on a case together. It goes as expected.
