Summary
"I'm... I'm just gonna go," Nefer murmured, her voice softer than Lauma expected, almost too soft, like a whisper. Nefer was clearly trying to pull away, retreat into herself again, the way she always had.
It wasn’t like her to leave so abruptly. There was something she wasn’t saying - perhaps relating to the packages on the ground. Lauma could feel it in her bones, the unspoken words hanging heavy in the air. Nefer didn’t truly want to leave; she was just too stubborn to admit she wanted to stay.
"You can’t go home this late, Nefer," Lauma said, her voice firm, but not harsh. To Nefer's dismay, it lacked the softness it once had.
"It’s far too late to be out on your own," continued Lauma. "You should at least have something to eat. I once told you that Hiisi would always welcome you. I do not intend to retract that statement."
A year after their breakup, Nefer finds her way to Lauma's hometown with the simple mission of delivering ungifted presents.

The blonde’s eyes flicked briefly to the stage lights above them, then back to Astra. “I heard the whole song.”
She blinked. “The… whole thing?”
“Yes.” Evelyn nodded, as if confirming a report. “You’re good at guitar.”
Astra simply smiled. She was happy when people said she played well, but they didn’t really stick. They slid off easily, like rain. It’s just something you say to anybody who plays for you.Evelyn compliments Astra, and something new blossoms from it.

Summary
Every morning before she begins, Evelyn takes a moment to drink in Astra’s visage and mourn having to cover it up. While her heart aches in a bittersweet elegy at the lip rouge, loving it because Astra loved it, the rest of the makeup was a cheap shade compared to the light of Astra’s natural beauty. Evelyn thought that Astra looked best when her face was clear, eyes bare, and lips the natural dusky pink of flesh rather than red roses or pink camellias.
But it had been the king's order, and even more impertinent is that it might better attract a prince to break the spell. Evelyn supposes they would know better on beauty; Evelyn isn’t sure she had ever found anything beautiful until she met Astra.

"It's not a very… festive one, is it?" Lauma smiled, as if there wasn't anything the slightest bit wrong. "I'll take this as my gift for the holidays then, I suppose."

Nefer snorts, stirring honey into her imported tea from Liyue. “Thank you Candace, you’re very kind.”
“I’m observant,” Candace corrects lightly. She crosses her arms. “Besides, you always did get sick when you’d stay up through the night. Some things never change.”
Nefer hums at that, far too tired to argue. “Doesn’t help that I woke up at dawn, I guess. But Lauma had early duties—it couldn't really be avoided.”

Nefer looks down at Lauma’s face. Her expression is peaceful, unburdened. For once, there’s no weight of duty etched into her features. Just quiet rest.
Then, her gaze drifts to the faint glow of her antlers that casts soft light across her features. Nefer lifts a hand, tempted to brush her fingers along them, but stops just short.
No. They must be sensitive. She wouldn’t dare cross that boundary, not after Lauma trusted her enough to let her guard down like this.
Instead, Nefer gently brushes aside the bangs covering the left side of Lauma’s face and leans in, pressing a light kiss to her forehead.
“Good night, Lauma. Sweet dreams.”
Or, what happens after Lauma and Traveller parts ways in the 6.0 story quest after Lauma revealed the truth to the Frostmoon Scions.
