It's been two years since Dean has seen this town, this house, and the Dom that lives here. It's been two years since he ran away, scared of the commitment gently offered, of the possibility of a life outside of the one he knows.
It's been two years, and in that span of time, Dean's lost his brother, lost his father, and lost himself. He's a Submissive who's afraid of his own biology, and the only time he's ever felt safe around a Dom is when he spent a few short, precious days with the very man who lives here.
It's been two years, and Dean is back. Now he can only pray that he'll be forgiven.

Summary
He and Dean had a fight last night that ended with Dean sleeping on the couch. Cas did feel bad about it, really. But he was blinded by anger the night before, and had just let it happen.
He’s about to close his eyes and fall back asleep when he feels someone shift next to him. He rolls over to see that Dean has rejoined him in the bed at some point. He’s confused, because he never does that after fights. He’s usually pretty adamant on needing space after.
When he examines him closer, he sees something peeking out from under his sleeve.
Cas and Dean have a fight that results in Dean relapsing into self harm. Cas finds out about it the next morning from a very much regressed Dean.

Deaged dean following cas everywhere, not wanting to do anything if cas isn't there, always running after him and gripping the back of his trench coat "cas don't leave!!" even if cas was just going to his room and coming back in less than a minute and sam watches them wondering if this is just a normal thing for a little kid to do or if this just dean's deep fear of losing cas emerging
