It's been two years since Dean has seen this town, this house, and the Dom that lives here. It's been two years since he ran away, scared of the commitment gently offered, of the possibility of a life outside of the one he knows.
It's been two years, and in that span of time, Dean's lost his brother, lost his father, and lost himself. He's a Submissive who's afraid of his own biology, and the only time he's ever felt safe around a Dom is when he spent a few short, precious days with the very man who lives here.
It's been two years, and Dean is back. Now he can only pray that he'll be forgiven.

Summary
He and Dean had a fight last night that ended with Dean sleeping on the couch. Cas did feel bad about it, really. But he was blinded by anger the night before, and had just let it happen.
He’s about to close his eyes and fall back asleep when he feels someone shift next to him. He rolls over to see that Dean has rejoined him in the bed at some point. He’s confused, because he never does that after fights. He’s usually pretty adamant on needing space after.
When he examines him closer, he sees something peeking out from under his sleeve.
Cas and Dean have a fight that results in Dean relapsing into self harm. Cas finds out about it the next morning from a very much regressed Dean.

Summary
Twelve days on the road leaves Dean wound tight, lonely, and half out of his mind. The hunt is easy; the silence after is not. With no Sam beside him and no Cas to patch him up, he ends up alone in a shitty Nebraska motel with too many memories and too much need.
Cas’s texts don’t help.
The last one “I miss you, Dean” nearly breaks him.
Dean tries to be good. He really does. Forty three minutes of pretending he isn’t hard for the one person he’s not supposed to want. Then he gives in.
And the moment Dean whispers Cas’s name, Heaven answers.
What begins as Dean’s desperate, lonely night turns into something far more dangerous, tender, filthy, and impossible to ignore. Cas is done pretending. Dean can’t hide anymore. And nothing between them will ever be the same after this.

Summary
The bunker is too quiet, and Dean Winchester is crawling out of his skin. Six miles on the treadmill, a bruised set of knuckles on the heavy bag, a couple glasses of whiskey, none of it is enough to burn off the static in his head or the way his body won’t settle.
Then Cas walks into the gym barefoot, rolls his sleeves up, and offers Dean a simple solution:
“You need to hit something. I can take it.”
What starts as late night “training” turns into Cas pinning Dean to the mats again and again, calm and steady while Dean’s body betrays him in every possible way. Avoidance doesn’t help. Whiskey doesn’t help. Showers definitely don’t help.
Cas noticing absolutely everything, and very quietly wanting it too?
Yeah.
That might actually do the trick.Sparring, yielding, and learning there are much better ways to work off tension than running in circles.

Original prompt: Dean is still a hunter, his past is the same, he still became a Demon the same way, still got caught by Sam after his fight with Cole but then the cure didn’t work because he's a Knight of Hell. So while Sam and Cas are off talking about what to do next Crowley frees Dean because they've been fooling around but Dean goes off on his own only to turn up again a few weeks later, coming to Cas' aide when he's being attacked. Dean flirts and jokes that he knows how Cas can thank him. Cas of course gets flustered and Dean leaves with a smirk or a smart-ass comment or something else Dean like. Cas knows that he can't have relations like that with a Demon and especially not Dean, he's best friend but he finds the desire has been awoken in him and he's increasingly powerless to stop himself when Dean teases and flirts and touches him.

“So, Cas,” Dean began, “First date?” The three men glanced toward the bar to see Jo pouring Meg and Ruby each a shot of some dark liquid.
Castiel looked apprehensive, hesitating a moment before answering. “I guess you could say that. Actually, I wasn’t given much choice in the matter. Meg works on another floor of the hospital where I work. She cornered me in the cafeteria and told me to meet her here at 8 o’clock because we had a date. I agreed before I even knew what was going on.” He ran his hands through his hair sheepishly, effectively making it stand up even more than it already did. The bedhead look suited him, Dean thought.
“Wow,” Sam remarked with a small laugh. Dean threw an annoyed glance at Meg who was now flirting with a stout man in an expensive suit.
“Yep.” Castiel nodded, “Now I just have to figure out how to tell her I’m gay.”
It took a moment for Castiel’s statement to wash over Dean, and when it finally did, it hit him like a tidal wave.

Cas isn’t entirely sure how or why they started this arrangement, who of them first suggested the idea.
But now it happens semi-regularly, whenever they both get drunk together — which is neither hard to plan nor rare to happen. They are in the same friend group, they both are close to Charlie, queen of parties and alcohol-fueled game nights. They get drunk together at the very least twice a month, go out and play or dance and have fun with their friends, and then instead of going their separate ways home, they end up stumbling back to one of their places together, arms almost brushing, giggling like they share a secret. Like nobody could ever guess what they were up to just by looking at them.
And then they fall into bed together.

Summary
A alternate version of the story with a few key differences that drive slow canon divergence, and not just via Destiel. I’ll be messing with Sam and Dean’s personality a little, with the intention of giving them an overall arc as opposed to writing depending on the author.
Edit: This series is going to come in two forms. Especially early on, there won't be major changes to the episodes, just a few added scenes often before or after an episode. If that's the case, I'll release the new scenes with a description of when it takes place. If there are significant enough changes, I will modify the whole episode and release it, but if it's essentially the same... I'm not going to risk it.
