It is a far cry from redemption. It is only a death, slowed down enough to see all the exits he walked past.

He was dressed down to his shirtsleeves with his vest unbuttoned, more casual than Martín was used to seeing him, but that was not what made him take a step back in shock. Oswald wasn't wearing an eye patch, and both of his eyes were big, black buttons.
"I thought I heard you sneaking around."~
One rainy day, Martín finds a strange little door in the drawing room of the Van Dahl mansion.

Martin is adopted by Oswald and Edward and has inherited the Van Dahl estate and fortune while his parents are imprisoned. He discovers an old diary hidden under the floorboards of his bedroom. The words of the young teen- Millie Jane Van Dahl- inspire him to follow in the footsteps of his adoptive family and get his fathers out of prison. Or, at the very least, strengthen their empire from the outside.
