Summary
Nina Henderson likes playing DnD with Will Byers, Lucas Sinclair, Mike Wheeler, and her half-brother Dustin in Wheeler's basement. Then one day, Will goes missing and she and the boys are on the lookout for him. However, given her new start at the high school instead of the middle school with the boys, things don't always work for her during the investigation. After she follows Nancy to a party due to complicated circumstances and the need for a distraction, Barbara Holland goes missing as well and Nina feels like she needs to find her. But as she starts her investigation, the local PD start asking questions about why she always seems to be the last person to see these missing kids and ends up at all these suspicious places around town. At the same time, she strikes up an unlikely friendship with Steve "the hair" Harrington, despite his friends incessant teasing.

Summary
