everyone’s huddled in the dugout to avoid the rainfall that resulted in a (hopefully) brief rain delay. they’re on the road and it looks like the kaijus haven’t fixed up their visitors dugout since they built the damn stadium. the tarp’s been pulled over the field and everyone’s waiting on the guy who’s paid to watch the weather channel.

Summary
Stacker’s quarters are left untouched for weeks. Herc and Mako are the only two people who know the combination to Stacker’s digs and Herc has long since decided that it was Mako’s right to go through it when she is ready, and she will be ready.
(He doesn’t think of Chuck’s.)
He checks in once or twice just to see if she has, but nothing is disturbed. Slippers are still set by the door, shirts and suits still in their rightful place. The little trinkets they picked up on various trips to Japan still sit on his desk. Herc sees the pile of PPDC-related work next to the trinkets and groans, shutting the door and pretending he didn’t.

Summary
Arthur calls Yusuf for a favor that leads to an experimentation on Ariadne.
It starts with a phone call.
"She's having nightmares," Arthur says over the line, tone low and calculating. Yusuf can tell that the pointman has struggled to make this call, knows the other man doesn't trust him. Not after their first and only job together. "Eames told us about your dream den. Just help her, okay?"
Not without a fee, Yusuf says silently, but he agrees.

Summary
There was a boy. A boy whom Yoongi loved so dearly. Someone he considered a close friend and younger brother.
He was standing beside the piano, brown hair and slanted mahogany eyes staring at Yoongi for the first time. His skin was sun-kissed, his lips plump and rosy, his cheeks full and dusted with the prettiest shade of pink Yoongi had ever seen. There was a friendly smile on his face, one that was as bright as the sun, one that pinched the corners of his eyes and made them disappear into tiny crescents.
There was a boy.
And Yoongi had forgotten all about him.

It's moments like this that make Taehyung panic. The open derision on each courtier's face, the scorn of his brother as he turns from his prey. The slit of Park Jimin's eyes, just barely open and dark and hateful, as Taehyung swallows and squares his shoulders and says—
"I want to claim him."
The tides of war change, and sweep Taehyung and Jimin along with them.

Everybody around Taehyung knows what they want, who they are, who they want to be. They have aspirations, dreams, passions. Taehyung has none of that. He doesn't know who he is, deep inside he has no idea what he is doing.
Taehyung only has Jimin. It is only Jimin holding him there, the only connection he has and cares about. He just doesn’t know if one thing is enough anymore. He doesn’t know if one thing should ever be enough.
