It’s not a secret that Yamaguchi’s love language is mainly physical touch. Sure, he enjoys showing his love in other ways, like words of affirmations and quality time, but he’s always preferred touch.
Yamaguchi doesn’t quite know what Tsukishima’s love language is yet, although he’s fairly certain it’s not the same as him. He doesn’t mind moderating his amount of daily hugs if it means that his best friend isn't uncomfortable.

i love this so much!!! it is so sweet and perfect, tsukishima’s overdramatic internal monologue is so on point. the way he is so dramatic about his life being miserable when it is definitely not, and how he acts so nonchalant about his feelings towards yamaguchi when he feels so much inside. both akiteru and their mother being enamoured with yamaguchi is SO CANON! akiteru crying at tsukishima’s confession was sooo freaking funny. thank goodness yamaguchi confessed first, because tsukishima’s fake idgaf mentality would’ve gotten him nowhere

THIS IS SO SWEETTT but omg!!! POOR KAGEYAMA!!! literally all his plans getting ruined 😭😭😭 he’s better than me because i would’ve started crying so early on. i love how determined he is to show hinata how much he loves him through the gifts 🥺🥺🥺 and all of them being so thoughtful is sooo sweet (even if they all didn’t end up well). and i love how understanding and positive hinata is! i love that hinata already knows kageyama loves him through his everyday actions <333 they are the cutesttt together!!!

Kageyama didn’t know what to say to that, so he just watched Hinata for a moment through the screen. Sunlight touched the edge of Hinata’s jaw, catching on the curve of his mouth.
“Do you think,” Kageyama said finally, “you’d have time to come here? Even just for a few days.”
Hinata blinked. “To Rome?”
Kageyama nodded.
There was a pause—longer than necessary, but not uncertain. Hinata rubbed a thumb along the side of his mug. “Yeah,” he said. “Yeah, I think I could."

absolutely SWOONING reading this!!! i love the way it is written so much!! gosh, imagine being with the love of your life in italy!!! i love how distance doesn’t stop them, how they’re always updated on each other’s activities and constantly thinking about each other. the amount of trust they have in each other where they can communicate without talking. and how domestic they are together even when they spend majority of the time apart!! the quote at the start really encapsulated this entire fic, i love the way kageyama tells hinata that he eats differently when he’s alone and when he’s with him. gosh, this fic is so romantic!!

i absolutely love this fic so much!! i am such a sucker for the dynamics between all the different haikyuu characters, especially seeing how differently they interact with each other in timeskip. i love pride sooo much :,,) it makes me both happy and sad to see everyone proud of their sexualities yet only safe to show it in a certain place and time. i love how kageyama wasn’t sure of his sexuality but just knew he liked hinata <333 and them having an out and loud confession mid game mid filming is SOOO funny and so in character!! i love love love this so much!!!

COULDNT STOP GRINNING THROUGHOUT THIS WHOLE FIC!!! god i dont even know where to begin!!! FIRSTLY!!! tendou is one of my top favourite characters and i absolutely love having a fic exploring him and his thoughts and feelings and emotions and everything in between. i love how hinata, the main character in the manga, is a supporting character here and we can see the way tendou views him. i loveee hinata and tendou’s friendship!!! it is real to me that tendou snuck him food during the training camp!! and oh my gosh. how can i even begin on ushiten??? one of my favourite ships ever. i love how they can read each other like a book!!! the way that tendou feels so deeply in love with ushijima that he feels like he is gonna explode!!! i crave that feelings so much!!! i love how they both confessed to each other and exchanged buttons at the same time <333 how freaking romantic!!! other things i love about this fic!!! hinata being so smiley and excited and reminding tendou of both himself and ushijima!! tendou and goshiki’s dynamic!!! i love how fond tendou is of goshiki and how much goshiki admires him <333 and omgosh KOGAGOSHI!!! i did NOT expect them but i literally SQUEALEDDD SO MUCH because i love them so much <333 and oh my gosh it’s canon to me now that tendou was raised by an amazing and supportive single trans father. i love how supportive he is of tendou and ushijima and their relationship!!! i love how this fic is a telling about the edge of change, of how tendou seized the fear he had in applying to university overseas and confessing to ushijima and had such great outcomes with both <333 the timeskip AHHH :,,) i love them being happy together as they deserve!!!

literally couldn’t stop grinning while reading this!! this is my favourite types of fics, established kagehina with such an adorabley cute plot that really encapsulates their relationship so well. absolutely adoreee hinata losing his minddd at kageyama suddenly posting thirst traps and getting jealous over all the comments, whereas kageyama has such a one track mind thinking about volleyball and hinata HAHAHA!!! i love love loveee kenhina friendship so much and kenma telling hinata about kuroo being the one behind it all was so hilarious!!! also the mention that jva fans are sick of seeing atsumu on the time made me laugh. even though kuroo was never physically present in this fic, his presence was so funny. kageyama being so pouty and worried that hinata would be made is SO CUTEEE and hinata is right because he’s the only one that can see these sides of kageyama. this was so adorable and exactly what i needed <333

what a beautiful character analysis!! it really reminded me why yamaguchi is my favourite character. the feeling of wanting to be better at something not because you’re truly passionate about it, but because you’re being left behind by others, is so relatable. i really love how yamaguchi realizes that “being hinata” isn’t very fun because he’s Not hinata. reminds me of how kagehina’s whole life and dynamic is volleyball, whereas for tsukkiyama, it’s just a small part because they do so many other things together. it’s so funny how yamaguchi wishes for the attention and praise hinata gets, but forgets about the intensity of kageyama’s expectations and PINING?? that comes with it. i also love how even though hinata isn’t in his original position, his tenacity and determination still shines through anyways. and i think it’s so sweet how yamaguchi just really wants to spend time with tsukishima at the end of the day <3 such an interesting and unique fic!! i love it!!
