“Sam,” said Bucky, and Sam lowered his hands and opened his eyes to look at him, only to find himself the subject of Bucky’s staring problem yet again. “Let’s just go out there. See who we can help, how."
Taking on the Captain America mantle is all well and good, but unfortunately, it quickly becomes pretty obvious to Sam that carrying the shield doesn't guarantee a paying gig as a superhero—at least, not any kind of job that fits with the kind of Cap Sam wants to be. But when it comes down to it, all Sam wants to do is use the shield to help people, so paying gig or not, he and Bucky set out on the road to do just that, and to figure out what kind of superheroes they want to be. Slowly but surely, they figure out just what kind of partners they want to be too. (Hint: it is not 'just a couple of guys.')

Even amongst the masterful deception of the other agents, Kaku was the best of them all. He blended in with the Water 7 citizens almost too well: whistling as he worked his sham of a job, expression light with joy that looked far less fake than it should've. Even when he dropped the act behind closed doors, there was still a levity to his demeanor –– a spark that extinguished the moment Nico Robin slugged a bullet into Iceburg's chest.
Given that it hasn't interfered with any of their missions, the fact that he has lost that spark should not matter. It should not matter. And yet––
"We'll take that one," Lucci says before he can stop himself.
Even Hattori gives him a weird look.

Guillermo stares at Nandor, who is already turning to walk away. He stammers, “But… why?”
Nandor whirls back around dramatically. “You are the one who wanted to ‘hang out’,” he snaps. “So stop with this questioning.” And then he’s off, stomping up the stairs in an unwarranted hurry.
Or: Guillermo and Nandor try to navigate their "friendship" now that Guillermo is a cool vampire murderer. It's super.
