“But they adapted,” Robin continued. “If anything, you should blame me-”
“I do blame you,” Batman said coolly, interrupting Robin. “This is a clear lapse of leadership and frankly, the amount of those you have shown in the past few months is disappointing and dangerous. But this isn’t about you, Robin, this is about your team. We’ll speak about your failures in depth later.”

Summary
“What are we doing?” Kon asked politely as they were moving over the rooftops to wherever Jason’s crime of the night was. Tim wanted to tell him not to bother and that his brother wouldn’t tell him until they were there anyway.
“Bank robbery,” Jason replied like the asshole he was.

Summary
Tim leaned forward slightly. “I’m not sure you realise what is happening here, so I will spell it out for you. This is a hostile takeover,” he smiled thinly. “More hostile than most, to be fair.” And under his breath, he muttered: “Three seconds, back of the room.”
Jason behind him shifted slightly.
Click.
Tim laughed.

Summary
He'd been working with M'gann for years now. They'd become heroes around the same time and he felt like he was more than familiar with her methods and how it appeared. Even when they weren't psychically linked. That was the only way he was able to distinguish the changes in her behavior in the field. Maybe she was right. Maybe he wasn't thinking clearly. But that was what he'd told himself the first and second time.
Or
A retelling of that time M'gann tried to alter Conner's memories because she was absolutely ridiculous for that one.

Summary
"M-My dad said you, you’d,” the kid says, swallowing. “That if I didn’t, that if I didn’t behave, he’d sell me to you. And you, you would…”
The shock burns away immediately; the ashes condense into a murky, muted sort of rage.
He stays still for a long moment, then pulls himself up against the wall. “Okay,” he says monotonously, taking a step toward the kid, and the kid- flinches. He flinches.
Jason reels back, not speaking yet, not trusting himself not to yell. And when he does speak, he says:
“Come on, kid. Let's go say hi to your dad."

Dick knows the importance of tapping out in training, so your partner doesn't accidentally hurt you. It becomes instinct, so heavily ingrained in him. He doesn't understand why his brothers don't do it, too.

Summary
Damian was confused.
Damian prided himself on not being confused very often; it was unbecoming of the Heir of the Demon to misunderstand anything. He trained incessantly, to remember everything he was supposed to do and when he was supposed to do it, and what he was supposed to know and how to use that knowledge. His knowledge had never truly failed him before.
That is, it had never truly failed him in Nanda Parbat. Gotham, on the other hand, was a completely different monster, and Damian was… struggling.
Not failing. Never failing. Failing was one thing that the Ibn al Xu’ffasch could not do. Struggling was embarrassing enough. But it had become increasingly clear over the last few days that Damian had misunderstood – no, he had been misinformed of – his place in his Father’s household.
