Blackthorn hums. "That's too bad, as those are the laws. But enough about that. I just have one more question for you," She lightly waves her hand to move on to a next topic, staring at Technoblade right in the eyes.
"Where are the kids?"
But Technoblade doesn't answer. He stays silent while holding her gaze, unblinking, like this was a staring contest.
"Where are they, Technoblade?"
Once again, nothing.
Blackthorn huffs before standing up. "You'll be talking soon, Just wait." Is all she says before walking back out the door and it locks behind her.

“I recall giving you an answer three times already, mate,” Phil tells him as he settles back against the headboard a bit more, giving Techno a Look of his own over his shoulder. “Chill, for like…five seconds, maybe.”(Retirement is going well. This is literally just fluff and Phil being grouchy about being sick. That's it.)

As he pours the chocolate chunks in the cup a devious smile grows across his face. He grabs one chunk and throws it over to Phil. It lands with a light thunk in the dough. His head slowly turns as he grabs the chunk and throws it into the pile of discarded wrappers on the counter.
He lets a light chuckle escape his lips, to an outsider looking in they would think it's because of the situation, but techno knows different. Techno knows the chaos that follows quickly after, he quickly shields his face but Phil moves too fast. The dough is already on Techno's nose.

Wilbur couldn’t sleep.
By all accounts, he should've been able to, exhausted after a long day at work. His mind just didn't want to shut up, bombarding him with thoughts and memories of all the people he cared about injured and dying. Especially Tommy.
Logically, he knew the kid was fine. Logically, he was asleep in his bed, just a few rooms over, and Wilbur would’ve heard him leave if he’d left. Logically, nothing could have happened to him. But his heart didn’t seem to care about logic, with the way it jackrabbited in his throat.
