Based on tumblr prompt: Reading about Omega Buck has me wanting more! Buck's parents despise him for being an omega, Maddie the only one who loves him. Buck is devastated when he learns that his parents have arranged for him to bond with a member of Alpha prime Bobby's pack, a secondary alpha named Eddie. Buck is terrified and doesn't even meet Eddie till the bonding ceremony. Eddie himself is apprehensive since Shannon's abandonment. They bond and Buck adores Chris but he and Eddie have a long road ahead.

He knew the second that Buck walked into the 118 that he wasn’t going to be like any other firefighter Bobby had ever met. But, that wasn’t the whole story. Perhaps there was a child sized hole in Bobby’s heart that hadn’t been filled yet when he met Buck. Or maybe it was because there was a gaping parent sized hole in Buck’s heart since he was born. All of this together caused Bobby to take Buck in as his own. Well, emotionally. He was still Buck’s boss after all.
Needless to say, Bobby knew a lot more about Buck than he did his other firefighters. For example, he knew Chimney’s favorite dinner and Hen’s preferred medical bag, but he knew that all Evan Buckley wanted was to have a family, a partner, and children. Honestly, he wouldn’t be surprised if other people knew that too. While other people knew, Bobby, as both Buck’s boss and dad, was the only one who wanted to and could do something about it. He used his paternal desire to meddle, and his bossly ability to hire someone who could fill all of Buck’s needs.

“Buck this is an order. You have to move, look for a way out...” Bobby grumbles, peremptory, like a boss now. Even though his eyes show so much concern. “Find the way out, Buck, we are looking for you from outside, okay?”.
“There could be, yes. But ... Cap?” he says, tentative over the radio. “It’s all dark and... and... and I think I’m hurt...” he says and hears him just chuckle. “I’m bleeding...” he continues to say and coughs. “But… but it doesn’t hurt”.
Shit. Shit. Shit. This isn’t a good sign. Eddie has seen many injuries, even before being a firefighter. And this is not a good sign, if one doesn’t feel pain, it isn’t a good sign.Or, Buck gets trapped in a burning building but... there really is always a way out? No one gets left behind, right?

Summary
Buck should’ve never made the playlist in the first place, he knows that. It was a stupid thing to do because with how often they give each other their phones, Eddie was bound to see it eventually and start asking questions.
But Buck was drunk when he made it - wallowing in self-pity about how the man he loves will never love him back. He’s just grateful his drunk self had the sense to not actually title the playlist ‘Eddie.’
“Who’s ‘E’?” Eddie asks from where he’s sitting on the couch, scrolling through Buck’s Spotify account because Buck stupidly told him to put on some music and forgot about the goddamned playlist.
Buck freezes in his movements as his eyes meet Eddie’s, opened wide.
“Um,” he says stupidly, gaping. “No one.”
Eddie narrows his eyes at him in suspicion and pouts slightly, the way he always does when he doesn’t believe something somebody is telling him.
“You’re a terrible liar, Buck,” he states. “Why didn’t you tell me you were dating someone?”

“Okay, well, I guess we…,” he says with a grimace. “I guess we kind of killed our captain.”

“What?” Eddie snaps back, throwing his hands up in frustration. “I mean, I don’t think the guy would’ve had a heart attack today if it wasn’t for us.”
