Yasuhiro pants. You’d think, after running away from people he finds himself in trouble with so many times, running would feel easier. It does not. And perhaps he has all the laying down he does the rest of the time is to blame. But god, he cannot run any further. And by the sound of motorcycle revving, he’s sure he hasn’t lost them yet. Where’s Mondo when you need him?
And well, his prayers are answered. No, not by Mondo, but by the (chest of) the next best thing. He should really look where he’s going instead of behind himself.

Daiya and Yasuhiro meet at another instance where Yasuhiro has caught himself in some trouble. Daiya pulls him out of it. And as a thanks, it seems Yasuhiro will do anything to repay him by pulling him out of whatever trouble he’s in.
Yasuhiro finds that trouble goes deeper than gang fights. And not only will pulling him out of things be a long, drawn out process, but Daiya isn’t very willing, either.

He expects a quip and maybe a shove from Ilya, but instead, Ilya’s expression loosens, surprise flickering in his eyes. He seems…far away, all of a sudden. But the sharpness returns in almost an instant, making Shane wonder if he’d imagined it. The expected shove comes, causing Shane’s grin to creep back.

The interaction left him frozen, and Steve realized that his face must’ve been red, because when Robin finally came around the corner, she asked him why he looked like a tomato. He shook his head and refused to explain.
“Seems like you just met a certain someone,” Robin said speculatively, eyebrows raised.
Steve could not, would not satisfy her with an answer, so he simply walked to the break room and sat down, releasing a mortified groan into his hands.
