He had no fucking idea how to react. This was a person?! But how?! How was this a person?! People didn’t just turn into wolves!

At fourteen years old Stiles Stilinski said goodbye to his best friend Derek Hale as he left Beacon Hills for good; he never expected never to hear from him again, but now Derek has returned to track down the Alpha responsible for his sister's death and Stiles once again finds himself immersed in the dangerous world of the supernatural.
This is essentially a re-write of Season 1 as if Derek and Stiles knew each other from childhood). This fic has two stories interwoven one set in the past and one set at the time of Series 1 events. It's also an epic slow burn/friends to lovers ... because I just love that sort of thing!
Derek left Stiles when he became the Alpha. Four months later he is back and wants to pick things up, build a pack and re-build the Hale home. Stiles needs time to figure everything out and forgive Derek for leaving.
This will be essentially a re-write of Season 2 plot points (not exact) with Stiles and Derek having a past relationship as friends to lovers
