Things do not go according to plan.
Sero's been completely seperated from Todoroki and Jirou, he's trapped with nothing but a layer of ice protecting him, and the rubble above him won't stop shifting.
He thinks he's alone. Selfishly, he hopes he isn't, even if it means there's someone else stuck in this mess with him. He thinks he's alone, until some of the ice cracks away, and he shines his flashlight outside the little hole to see what the hell is going on.
He spots a flash of red and white. There's far more red than there should be.OR: On a training mission, Sero and Todoroki get trapped under a building.

A not-so-unfamiliar guilt settled itself in his stomach, a constant reminder of how he'd abandoned Fuyumi and Shouto at the first chance he'd gotten, running off to college to live his own life. He'd only just recently started interacting with his little brother, after a lifetime of being complete strangers.
He was doing his best to make up for his absence, after finally realising that running off wasn't going to fix anything, at least not for his siblings.OR:
Natsuo hasn't been there for his big sister and little brother. He intends to make it up to them. -

Aizawa frowned, "uh, yeah. Someone showed you Dabi's video, didn't they? And I don't doubt Todoroki himself has told you bits and pieces."
Izuku did not expect this to be how the conversation went.
"Yeah. But Todoroki isn't being hurt now. He's fine. Endeavour's changed."
Or: Midoriya trusts the Hero Commission far more than he should, especially given the situation at hand. Todoroki isn't available to explain what's what, so Aizawa and Bakugou do it instead.
