Nearly a decade later Father Vincent has died, and to their surprise, Ava and Beatrice are both named in the will.

Summary
This work is dedicated to Avatrice, the first ship that has inspired me to write fan fiction since Clexa. It's not a fully developed story, but rather a series of short, stand-alone Avatrice moments that I like to imagine could have happened in between the actual glorious scenes Warrior Nun has blessed us with. I don't yet know how many moments I am going to write (may depend on how many people are even interested in this), but I can guarantee that they will mostly be full of happy Avatrice, mainly a laughing/teasing Ava convincing a reluctant Beatrice to have some fun and live a little with her (because Ava's heart eyes and Beatrice smiling makes me weak).

“How long ago was that?”
“That was, um…” There’s a hint of fear in Ava’s eyes when she says this. Like she knows what comes next and doesn’t really want to know the answer.. Ava wouldn’t be human if she wasn’t wounded by all of this.
“That was three years ago.” Beatrice answers honestly.
Ava's eyes welled up with tears as the weight of her lost memories crushed her. Three years gone. Moments, experiences, love, all erased. Ava's heart ached, not just for the forgotten memories but for the connection she sensed with this woman. It was as if her heart recognized Beatrice, even if her mind didn't.
