Home is a funny word, Iwaizumi supposes as he stares up at the ceiling of his dorm room. His roommate has an 8 am on Tuesdays, so it's just him and his thoughts, contemplating what it means to miss home, and what it means if you've stopped thinking about home as crowded trains and late night conbini runs, and more like a tilted smirk and the flash of a peace sign.
When you've spent most of your life with someone, it makes sense that home stops being a place and starts being a person.

Summary
The tiny town of Yuuei was somewhat of a hotspot for the occult. While most big cities had the usual host of magic and magical users— stamina potions woven into your caramel macchiato at the local coffee shop, reputable seers on call for nearly every major corporation, familiar adoption centers filled with reptiles, bats, and cats of every color— Yuuei was unusual in that the town itself accepted very few newcomers. Houses would appear overnight and traveling magic users would find themselves drawn to the front door, often in search of their lost familiar who just so happened to have found a key. The town was also home to several powerful magic users who preferred the idyllic life of Yuuei over the hustle and bustle of the big city. Powerful magic users like Hatsume, Todoroki, and of course, Bakugo.

Summary
No one on the team has mentioned it to him yet, and he prefers to keep it that way. They likely don’t remember that he and Oikawa Tooru, #13 of the Men’s Argentina National Volleyball Team, played on the same team in high school. And even if they do, they certainly wouldn’t know that they were closer than just the ace and his setter.
If God truly loves him, his team will stay both ignorant and away from him.
When Miya Atsumu sits down next to him, propping his chin on the heel of his hand and staring at him with an unnervingly knowledgeable gaze, Iwaizumi knows that God has forsaken him.
Or; it's the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, and the Volleyball Olympic gold matchup is between Argentina and Japan. Iwaizumi Hajime, the athletic trainer for the Japanese Men's National Volleyball Team, observes the #13 Argentinian setter from afar. He tells his team that he doesn't know Oikawa Tooru as well as he used to, and he tells himself that the concern he feels for his estranged best friend is just his mind playing cruel tricks.
Until Sakusa Kiyoomi, outside hitter for Team Japan, convinces him otherwise.
