Summary
A fresh pursuit of a criminal goes wrong and Connor, in classic fashion, sacrifices himself to save Hank. Unlike before going deviant, there is no back up body to upload his memories into to save himself, but he still instinctually uploads it anyways before shutting down. Hank, lost and alone, receives a call from Cyberlife with a life line Hank can't refuse--they offer to transfer Connor's consciousness into an RK900 body seeing as all RK800s were destroyed following Connor's actions during the revolution.
Too bad there's some very important details that this mega corporation conveniently left out.
Too bad Connor has to pay the price.

Not even because they'd somehow managed to incapacitate both Superman and Wonder Woman with specialized weapons that spoke of careful planning and inside knowledge. No, Bruce was having a terrible day because Green Lantern had just crashed through the ceiling in what had to be the most obvious rescue attempt in history, completely ruining Bruce's careful orchestration of events.
