The realisation hit him rather belatedly on a cool spring day, and Yosuke might insist later that it should have happened at a different setting, perhaps one that was much more romantic with flowers and lit candles alike. Regardless, it’s amongst the litter of cardboard boxes and plastic IKEA wrapping scattered around him that Yosuke suddenly understood a fundamental truth that had been apparent within him all along.
Yosuke’s in love with Yu.
The realisation hit him quite literally too - the wooden surface of the coffee table that he had been putting together slipped from his hand and struck him on his foot.
