The sky is dark and clear, of a truly beautiful indigo hue, stars twinkling brightly without the light pollution that tags along with big cities.
"It feels kind of," Mark searches for the right words and Jaemin waits, staring into the sky. "Endless," Mark says finally. "It's like we could get swallowed by eternity, emerge back at any given point in time. Like everything is nothing and nothing is everything."
Jaemin's chest expands at the words, the stars so close he could reach out and pluck a few right out of the inky darkness. Leave it to Mark to be able to put that feeling into words.

Summary
Freshly transferred student Lee Donghyuck goes to a fraternity party, because his best friend and said best friend's best friend want to properly welcome him in Los Angeles. Someone forces him to take something stronger than the weed the whole house stinks of, and Donghyuck wakes up in someone's bed, naked. He grabs the first clothes he can find in his panic, leaving, before he figures out what happened. When he gets back to his dorm, he realizes the jeans he wore aren't his, and the same goes for the red beanie hidden in their pocket. He's not one to dwell on something as silly as sleeping with a stranger while being fucked up, though, right? Right. So, he thinks, what's wrong with wearing the stupid hat? He looks awesome in it, after all.
Or: Jaemin should consider finding a job as a psychic.

Summary
Mark moves towards him carefully, as if Donghyuck's about to attack him. Not that he doesn't have any basis to act like that, considering Donghyuck's rather fearless and sometimes violent nature, but Donghyuck only snorts at his antics and pats the chair Mark previously occupied. Mark falls down on it with a huff.
"So I've been thinking," he starts, after making sure Donghyuck won't do anything questionable anymore. "And maybe we could deal with it in a different way? I mean, with your, you know," he lowers his voice ridiculously, "heat."
Donghyuck raises his eyebrows.
"What," he deadpans.
Mark immediately puts up his hands to protect his head. Donghyuck would aim much lower than that, but Mark doesn't need to know.

"If you have a problem, you should solve it like men," Johnny sighs.
"I can't hit him, Taeyong would give me a two year long lecture," Donghyuck protests.
Johnny stares at him with raised eyebrows for such a long moment, it gets unnerving and Donghyuck fidgets.
"I'm saying you should talk it out, dumbass," Johnny says finally, a bit patronizing and a lot exasperated. "Just you try hitting him and it's gonna be worse than Taeyong's lecture."
Donghyuck gasps dramatically.
"There is something worse?!"
Johnny cracks a smile and ruffles his hair with too much force.
"Be nice, he's your best friend. It's not cool to behave like a little kid," he says, leaving Donghyuck alone in the hall.
Or: Mark's life is sad. Ten just wants everyone to be happy and to get laid, if possible. Taeyong tries to do damage control. Donghyuck is a nuisance, but a very curious nuisance. So, what's really the whole deal with kissing?
