Celebrimbor hummed, taking care to sound indulgent. He gripped Annatar’s ankle over the weave of his hose, feeling the delicate structure. “Then I take it you won’t make me sacrifice another?” Theoretically, Annatar’s agreement didn’t matter. Is it possible for me to request a venomous snake for my dissertation defense?
Also, I have a question around the rules for venomous snakes: If I let the venomous snake bite me intentionally, but then I inject myself with the new antivenin reagent I developed for my thesis, that wouldn’t count as me being defeated, even though I was bitten, right? I think it would be a really neat demonstration of my research, but the rules are very unclear on this! ☹️

“I will never love this car,” Shane said, chancing it, and Rozanov did a little just-you-wait raised eyebrow thing. Shane realised he was flirting with his husband. To distract himself he bent to fuss with the straps of the baby’s car seat. He was asleep, tiny and beautiful in a little baby suit and hat, blanket tucked over his legs.
