Summary
Icarus has lost everything. His first life ended too quickly and somehow got him stuck here, with the abusive gods instead of an afterworld. His second life has gone on too long- long enough for him to lose his silly spirit to the no-nonsense Council Gods. Now, he's being sent to teach at a school for new demigods to "whip him into shape." Jumping at the chance to get far, far away from the gods, Icarus heads through the portal into a school full of potential new friends. After hundreds and hundreds of years of mental (and sometimes physical) torture, this new opportunity might be exactly what he needs to heal.

Summary

Lying sprawled out on his stomach, sun bathing him in a warm glow, Jon was the coziest he'd been in recent memory. He nuzzled into his furry bed, moth wings fluttering lazily as he let out a contented sigh. Said bed was also enjoying the afternoon sun, little snores escaping the cat as she slept soundly.
Of course, the peace couldn't last.
