Summary
There’s a complex cocktail of emotions and sensations that comes with reuniting with not only an ex, but his first official ex. Jisung was under the assumption that time heals all wounds and this too shall pass, but no amount of jumping around between paramours, hobbies, and impulsive decisions would hide the fact that his lingering feelings for Minho were more like...a kettle, slowly simmering on a stovetop. It only took their chance meeting for the heat to be set on high, and the kettle to start boiling over.
It’s not them falling back in love, much like a shattered mirror being glued back together, Jisung keeps repeating to himself; it’s just them trying to find a comfortable middle ground — or so he thinks. He knows he shouldn’t, that this could be disastrous, but — he wants to relish in this long-lost feeling again...if just for a bit longer.

“How old even are you?” He asks, biting his lip. It might be over the top at this point, but god does Felix feel desperate for this man.
Johnny chuckles and takes a deep swig of his beer. “I’m thirty-seven,” he says and Felix shudders – why the hell does he shudder from that? “How about you? You’re old enough to drink, right?”
Still smiling, Felix rolls his eyes. “I don’t look that young, do I? Or do you want me to be?”

Felix develops a thing for older people. Hot people, but older. His father’s friend Johnny hits the mark right on.

Minho is t-shirts with 8bit art tucked into wide jeans, too many pictures of cats, weak for anything cuddly and an otherworldly sense of sarcasm.
Next door there is Jisung, who is beanies, oversized everything, defiance and loud music through your wall at three AM.
Strangely, they fit together perfectly.
