Summary
So at some point my brain did the math that there are five Bennet sisters and six Matsu brothers...and then this wouldn't leave my head until I committed to making it real. I have too many jokes about this to let it sit un-written. This follows more the pacing of the BBC miniseries than the book itself with some simplifying - the idea is the Matsus are doing this as a bit for the show the same way they do a lot of gags and parodies. No offense is intended to either the Osomatsu San brand or Jane Austen, I promise. This is just pure indulgence for me, and to that end I've put the gay ships I think are the funest AND funniest to write front and center.
Also, point of clarification: none of this is intended to depict trans identities. I play with the pronouns when its funny and as far as this work is concerned they are all themselves but performing drag. I'm here to have fun with the gender stuff and make the plot work, not to enforce OR dismiss any one headcanon.
