Evan Buckley’s life sucks.
Ok, so maybe that’s not completely true. He has a sister who he thinks the world of, a beautiful niece who is just the most perfect kid that ever walked the planet, a group of friends who have become family and have saved his neck more times than he can count, and he has parents who love him no matter what idiotic, harebrained stunt he pulls, even though they’re not biologically related. He has a comfy apartment in a nice part of LA, an active social life, and a secure job which means he can pay all his bills and have enough left over to spend on things he doesn’t really need but does anyway to fill the gaping void that hadn’t been in his life a year ago.
Because a year ago he had the job of his dreams. He was doing something good, helping people, serving a higher purpose and making a difference. He was saving lives.
And then Freddie Costas blew him up.Or

Ana is perfectly nice and Eddie is… being a moron. He holds her hand. He’s kissed the corner of her mouth a few times. His hands have wandered a little, but strictly above clothes. It’s like every time he and Ana end up somewhere alone after dark, Eddie feels like the poor woman’s father is standing in the corner with a baseball bat and a very significant expression on his face.
set after s04e08. Eddie is having intimacy issues with Ana—as in, he doesn't want to be intimate with her at all and he doesn't understand why. Christopher is kind of upset about the whole thing. Buck just wants his favourite Diazes to be happy.

“Yeah, I did.”
“Can I help you find it?”
“You’re right here,” Eddie said softly, blinking tears out of his own eyes.

“I… Am I understanding you correctly? You were in the closet in the bedroom when Jee came in? And you were also in the other kind of closet? The closet that I was in and came out of?”
“Yes.”
Eddie exhaled heavily, looking Buck in the eyes, illuminated by the stars and the light from the kitchen window.
“I… I don’t have a label for myself yet. I don’t really know what it means, if I’m bi like you or I’m gay or some other third thing. What I do know is that you’re the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, and that’s enough for me.”

"Slander!" Buck yelled, gesturing wildly to the TV screen and sending the potato chips he was about to stuff his face with flying. At least the mess vanished before Eddie could even blink.
"We are not wearing skimpy, see-through clothes! " The Genie gave Eddie a speculating look. "That is, if the master wishes it..."
