Chapter Text

'10 minutes. How Do you run 10 minutes late, when you woke up two hours ago!?'

Izuku was running late, maybe not by Aizawa's standards, but by Iida's standards, he may as well have missed first period by this point. 'Christ Iida's going to kill me.' He'd thought as he pulled open the school doors. He was now sprinting down the halls, thankful that there wasn't anyone to bump into, when AllMight suddenly appeared at the end of the hall. He skid to a halt. Despite the, apparently permanent, grin plastered on his face, his eyes held a glint of urgency, and ... worry?

"What's wrong AllMight?" "It's well um, your class mates, young Midoriya. I think you ought to come see for yourself." AllMight led him to class, and when he slid opened the door, Midoriya was met with a room full of very energetic toddlers. The desks had been moved to the sides of the room, stacked on top of each other, and in the center stood a frantic Aizawa, holding an angry looking Bakugo Katsuki. His hair was tied back in pony tail, and he was trying desperately to keep the thrashing toddler in his arms from hurting his annoying classmates.

"Aizawa Sensei, What happened?!" "Hell if I know." He said with a grunt, small explosions sent popping from Katsuki's small, chubby, toddler hands. "When I came in, the whole lot of them where running around screaming like this! Well, 'cept for Todoroki over there." He said, using the limited use of his limbs to motion over to a boy sitting still in the corner, watching his feet sway idly. Momo sat next to him, waving her hands around, trying to get him to play with her, before giving up and heading over to see what Asui and Uraraka were doing. The bakusuad ran around playing, what Izuku could only assume was tag, allthough their rules seemed a bit inconsistent. Ojirou seemed to be playing patycake with just the air, but after a closer look, he could see it was hagakure, who had apparently , striped herself of everything but her socks. Asui, Uraraka, and now Momo, were all playing with what looked like a smaller than average dodgeball that someone had most likely brought up from the sports closet in the gym. Kirishima could be seen running around a still struggling Aizawa, trying to get Bakugo down to play. Iida and Tokoyami sat on the floor, not too far from an overturned school bag, and had busied themselves by scribbling on pieces of notebook paper. Ayoama Was sitting infront of the teachers desk with tears in his eyes because he couldn't see himself clearly. Jirou stood somewhere near Momo, probably trying to impress her girlfriend, screaming, and violently strumming an air guitar. Saoto had managed to open his lunchbox, and was munching on a piece of cake. He was lucky the other children were too preoccupied to try and pry it out of his hands. Well, except for shouji, who stood not too far away, making multiple limbs to try and get a long enough one to take Saoto's cake from him. Koda had used a chair and positioned himself on the windowsill, talking to birds and squirls. Aside from Todoroki, who now had tears in his eyes, Shinsou was the only other child who seemed to be remotely calm, having taken over Aizawa's sleeping bag for himself.

"Right then. First things first, Sensei, could you please give me Kacchan?" "All yours." Aizawa handed over a still thrashing Katsuki, glad to finally be rid of his incessant kicking and shouting. "Over here Kirishima." Kirishima happily trotted behind Midoriya, carrying a much calmer Bakugo, seeing as he had tired himself out from his little tiff with Aizawa, who had now retired to his sleeping bag, Shinsou still inside. Izuku decided to snap a quick photo, before focusing on the task at hand. He opened the supply cabinet in the corner of the room, taking out a box of markers, and a stack of paper, and holding them with one arm, using the other to hold Bakugo against his hip.

Izuku set Bakugo down with Tokoyami and Iida, along with the paper and markers, giving them something entertaining to do. Kirishima sat happily beside Bakugo, as he took a paper from the stack, along with a purple marker, and began to scribble. Meanwhile, Izuku walked over to Todoroki to inquire why he was now openly crying. But of course, since he didn't seem to be any older than maybe three, he couldn't really form coherent sentences. He did however get the response, "Up! Loud." Izuku picked him up, and set him on the windowsill, next to Kouda, away from the rest of the bumbling toddlers. Deciding to come back to him later.

Next on Izuku's to-do list was to deal with the self proclaimed 'bakusquad' "Hey,you guys wanna watch some cartoons?" He said, in a mock exited voice. All three of them shouted a unanimous "YAY!" Before settling down in a corner, huddled around Izuku's phone, which was on a never ending playlist of Mickey Mouse, Bubble Guppies, and other semi entertaining children's shows.

He left Ojirou, and Hagakure to their game of padicake, but only after forcing Hagakure to put her clothes back on so that Izuku wouldn't loose her. Next, He'd gotten the girls to move their little ball game into a corner so that they wouldn't hit anyone, they'd obliged willingly, which was a bit of shock to Izuku, but he wasn't about to question his good fortune. Now moving over to the still crying Ayoama, he found the toddler's school bag, and rummaged around in it, before eventually producing a very sparkly, very reflective, hand held mirror, as he'd expected. He handed the Mirror to the small child, and he'd calmed instantly. And when he turned to deal with Saoto and Shouji, he found that the cake had been eaten, and the two of them had moved on to scribbling on paper with the others. Last but not least was Jirou, who had followed Momo and was still belting out song lyrics that weren't even really words. He found Uraraka's phone in her bag, counting himself lucky he'd looked over her shoulder that one time so that he now knew her password) and pulled up something by Deep Dope, which was a band that he knew Jirou loved. By the time he was finished getting everyone to calm down, there was a once again, teary eyed Todoroki left staring at him.

It was pretty widely known by almost every one, except Todoroki, that Izuku had a missive crush on him, so this whole situation was a bit awkward for him. Never the less, he walked over to see why it was Todoroki was so sad. He'd calmed down almost as soon as Izuku'd picked him up, but when he put him down again, he'd started crying. Izuku tried to get him to watch cartoons with the 'bakusquad' but they seemed, uninteresting to him. Izuku tried to get him to join the girls in their ball game, but when Izuku walked away, Todoroki only toddled after him.

Izuku was tired. He'd given up trying to find something Todoroki was interested in, and decided to let him decide for himself. So Izuku sat in the middle of the floor, ans set Todoroki on his feet in front of him. "What do you wanna do little guy?" Only, instead of wobbling off to something that might be entertaining, he'd crawled into Izuku's lap, his impartial face staring at Izuku's pretty (at least in Shouto's opinion) green eyes. "Fine, I suppose you can hang out with me then." Izuku pulled a folder out of his backpack, along with a pencil, and his keys. He handed the keys over to Todoroki for something to do as he worked through his homework. The jangling of they keys were rhythmic, and soothing, so when they stopped, he looked down into his lap to find a dozing Todoroki Shouto, leaning up against his stomach. 'Cute.' Thought Izuku. Before blushing, and continuing with his homework, trying to ignore the gentle snores coming from beneath him. Eventually, Izuku tired himself out by listening to Todoroki's even, rhythmic breathing, and trying and failing to focus on his algebra homework, which he could hardly comprehend because of his drowsied state. Soon, he gave in, wrapping his arms protectively around a still sleeping Todoroki, and drifting off himself.
