Pierced by an Arrow

Summary:

Eros decides to shoot Percy with his cursed arrow, but thankfully his father is there to protect him from the repercussions. Sadly (or not), the effects don't go away quite that easily.

Thank the gods for Apollo.

Notes:

A discord server made me do this.

Please tell me what y'all think, this is my first time writing anything more intimate than a kiss :')

Happy birthday Ashilrak!

NOTE: I did NOT proofread this, so have fun.

Work Text:

The arrow pierced Percy’s chest moments before a hand covered his eyes. He almost didn’t recognize his father’s touch from how rough and desperate it was. Percy wouldn’t be surprised if he found bruises painting his face later, but he would worry about that later. At present, he was mostly concerned with the arrow that just tore through his chest, tearing tendons and muscles.

Percy felt across his chest tentatively, trying to gauge the damage. All he could feel was the cotton of his shirt, there was no blood or gore so to speak.

“Perseus.” His father’s voice rumbled deeply next to his ear, a strange quiver painting his tone. “Whatever you do, do not open your eyes.”

Normally, Percy would have given into his normal impertinent urges, but something whispered to his heart to listen to his father.

“What… what was that.” He kept his hand to his chest, not quite believing the lack of injury.

His father paused before giving an answer. It was an answer neither wanted to come to terms with. “That… that was one of Eros’ arrows. You’ll fall desperately and irrevocably in love with whoever you see next.” Percy had never seen his father scared before, but the tone of his father’s voice was that of pure terror. “I’m so sorry Perseus… there’s nothing I can do to reverse this, but I will make Eros pay.”

Percy was slowly filled with a visceral anger. After all he had done for the gods on Olympus, love would be his downfall. Despite what many may think, he was no idiot. He was no fool. He knew that Eros’ arrows brought only pain. Love and pain were one and the same, just different sides of the same coin. Much like Jason’s preferred weapon. After all he had done, he would be forced to fall hopelessly and desperately in love with some indifferent god (if he was lucky) or monster (which was most likely).

“What… what can I do?”

Poseidon weighed his words carefully. “Don’t open your eyes until you find someone worthy of your heart. I’m sorry that I don’t have anything better.” His father’s hand shift across his face, settling into a firmer hold. “I’ll see what can be done about getting a charmed blindfold for you.”

Percy nodded in his father’s grip. He slipped his hand off of his chest and took hold of his father’s wrist. “I… I don’t know what else I was expecting.” He shifted his weight slowly, his father following his movement carefully. “Can we just go home? I think our father-son bonding day is officially ruined.”

Poseidon sighed softly. “Yes, I do suppose it has been. I’ll flash us into your room in the palace. Keep your eyes closed.” The only answer he received was a soft squeeze on his wrist. Without any of his usual flair, the old sea god flashed them into his young son’s room.

“Can you grab me something to tie over my eyes? My eyes are still closed.”

Poseidon pulled his hand away tentatively. “Stay right there, I’ll be right back.” The only sign of his departure was a faint shift in the ocean’s currents and a torrent of bubbles. Before Percy could even blink (that is, if he could blink), his father returned. A strip of silk slid over his eyes before being firmly tied at the back of his head.

“This is just normal cloth, so keep your eyes closed no matter what. I’ll try to get something charmed, it’ll likely cost a few favors.”

Percy’s shoulders relaxed once the blindfold was in place. “Thanks dad.”

“Don’t thank me, you’re not any safer.” Percy could hear his father’s wince. “I didn’t mean that to come out so harshly… what I mean is that you shouldn’t thank me for doing the bare minimum to keep my son safe. You’ll still have to eventually face this charm, there is nothing I can do about that.”

Thankfully, Percy wasn’t fully blind underwater. His powers over the sea allowed him to feel even the slightest of changes to the current and temperatures of the water. This allowed him to create a vague picture of where everything was around him. “Still, you could have just left me there to fall in love with a skunk… or even worse, Ares.”

The god snorted in amusement. “Good to know your sense of humor is still intact despite the circumstances.” He gently ruffled his son’s hair, taking care to avoid the blindfold. “I should… I’ll let you get some sleep. I’ll have guards posted so you don’t have to worry. Hopefully I’ll have a solution, however temporary, by the time you wake up.

“Alright. Thank you, father.”

Poseidon guided his son to the over-sized bed with a gentle touch. Percy was soon wrapped up in the softest of blankets. It was nigh impossible to relax knowing he was safe in his father’s palace, surrounded by guards that were prepared to die if it meant keeping him safe from any wayward god.

He was uncomfortable with the idea of anyone dying for him, but the sentiment remained.

The cool deep-sea currents slowly lulled the demigod to sleep.

Just this once, he wasn’t visited by Morpheus.

“Can I trust you with this?” Poseidon asked with a daunting seriousness. Apollo knew he couldn’t die, per se, but his brief stint at the edge of chaos was nothing in comparison to the visceral fear he felt when looking at the old sea god’s face.

Apollo nodded violently. “Yes! Yes, you can trust me, I swear on the river Styx and on my mother’s name that no harm shall come to Perseus by my hand. I have no ill intentions, I only wish to keep him safe, as you do as well.”

Poseidon sighed heavily; a visible weight being lifted from his tense body. “Thank you, dear nephew.” He knew that Apollo’s stint as a human had solidified his respect of oaths and promises, no matter how sacred. “You can’t believe the time I’ve had trying to keep Olympus from getting my son. He can’t even leave his rooms without having to worry about a god trying to catch him unawares.”

Apollo couldn’t say he was surprised. If this… situation had arisen a couple years ago, Apollo likely would have been one of the many. He wouldn’t have hesitated to use the mist to warp Percy’s mind to the point where he forgot about Eros’ arrow. But now? Now when he held the demigod’s trust? After everything he went through as Lester?

No, he would not break his word to Poseidon, nor Percy’s trust in himself.

“I promise that Perseus will be completely safe during his stay on Delos. I will not force him to do anything he does not want to do.”

Poseidon nodded once. “Alright. Come with me then.”

Apollo had a second to collect himself before seafoam and the smell of fresh salt overwhelms his senses. When he opens his eyes again, they’re suddenly underwater in his uncle’s palace. He had been in it many times before (perks of being the favorite nephew), but it still never ceased to amaze him. The constant thrum of life was intoxicating. Curious octopi and fishes swam up to him, before spooking away when the current shifted.

“He’s right through here,” Poseidon said before lightly knocking on a door, two scarred guards nodding to the king before moving aside. He didn’t bother waiting for an answer, simply pushing the door open. “Perseus?”

And there he was. His hair fanned out around his head, an inky blackness that rivalled Nyx herself. His bronze skin glowed faintly from the little sunlight that was able to sneak its way into the depths.

Apollo may have helped the light make it this far.

Percy lifted his head, a silken blindfold firmly over his eyes. “Dad? Who’s there with you?” His head tilted to the side adorably with his question. He remained seated on the bed.

Apollo wanted nothing more than to take that damned blindfold off. Perseus’ eyes had always been his favorite feature on the whirlwind of a demigod. Their poisonous green had seeped into his ichor like heroin, not leaving him a single moment of peace unless they were within his sight.

“Really Perseus? You didn’t know it was me simply from my magnificent presence? I’m insulted.” Apollo made a point to ignore how Poseidon and Perseus snorted in unison. Percy’s was from amusement (he hoped). “Well, your daddy requested I take you on a little vacation to Delos. I’m sure this whole Eros ordeal has been stressful; I can understand your need to relax and unwind. Maybe sip a few mimosas, go on a hike or two.”

“Holy shit, never call him my daddy ever again.” The exasperation and pain were clear in his voice. Apollo was barely able to hold back his laughter.

“Fine, fine. Anyway, what do you say? Time for a little R & R?”

“Why Delos?”

Apollo tutted softly. “Perseus, I thought you would know our entire mythos from how much time you spend with Athena’s daughter. Delos is the ideal place for you to stay because no one can get onto the island without Artemis or myself present. Which means there won’t be any random gods or monsters trying to have a staring contest with you.”

For a moment, it almost looked as if Percy was relieved. Apollo would take that as a win. He knew it was likely from the idea of FINALLY being safe, but he hoped it was from the prospect of being close to the god.

“I… I would really like that. Thank you, Apollo.”

“Well,” Apollo said with a smile that verged on a smirk. “What are we waiting for?” He held his hand out, waiting for Percy to take it.

A silence stretched between them, Apollo’s smile weakening the longer Percy didn’t react.

Poseidon cleared his throat lightly, amusement tainting his face. “Perseus… Apollo is holding his hand out to you.”

“Oh! Okay.” Percy held his hand out blindly. All Apollo could do was blush in embarrassment at himself before taking Percy’s hand. “I suppose I’ll see you later dad?”

Poseidon hummed his ascent before taking Percy’s face in his hands. “I wish you a safe stay, my son.” He pressed a light kiss to his forehead. “Apollo, keep in mind that I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty if need be.”

Right.

Poseidon was known for being super mega protective over his kids.

Great.

“Of course! Of course. I don’t doubt that for a second, Uncle P!” Apollo said as he pulled Percy to his feet. “Well, we’ll be off then! Toodle-oo!” With a flash, the two of them disappeared in a beam of sunlight with the scent of laurel thick around them. Percy stumbled once they reformed on the shores of Delos. Apollo kept his grip firm but steady, making sure the demigod remained on his feet.

“Careful sweetheart, don’t need you taking a tumble and getting hurt. Uncle P would most definitely kill me if you got hurt after being in my care for less than a minute.”

Percy huffed softly. Apollo could almost see him rolling his eyes beneath the blindfold. “And whose fault would that be, Mr. I-Flash-People-Without-Warning?” Percy pursed his lips. “That… that came out wrong.”

“Well, I’m not usually one for public indecency of that sort, but I may change my mind if you ask nicely.” Apollo said coyly whilst slipping a hand towards Percy’s waist, completely under the guise of guiding him.

The demigod snorted inelegantly before blindly swatting at the sun god’s chest. “There are several hundred statues and paintings of you that suggest otherwise. Gotta say, not super impressive.”

Apollo sputtered. “Ex-Excuse me?! Not impressive?” He spun the demigod so that they were facing. “Perseus Jackson, are you telling me that you’re blind? If so, I can set you up with an appointment with Asclepius. He can get you some contacts.” Apollo considered Percy for a second. “I take that back; he can get you some glasses. You’d be cute with glasses.”

“You can’t just say stuff like that!” he said with an adorable blush. It seems that the son of the sea god flustered easily, who knew?

“Why not? I’m a god. I can do whatever I want whenever I want.”

“That’s not the point.” Percy shook his head. “Don’t compliment me unless you mean it.”

“Perseus, I’m the god of truth. I don’t lie unless absolutely necessary.” He let his words sink in for a few seconds. “That being said, I need you to know that I absolutely adore your thighs. Truly, darling. I would do anything to have them wrapped around my head.”

Apollo would be lying if he said he didn’t relish in Percy’s blush and sputtering.

“Alright, alright. I promise to play nice,” he said, wrapping his arm around Percy’s waist once again. Apollo felt Percy relax into his touch almost immediately which brought a smile to his face. “C’mon, let’s go relax. You deserve something nice for once.”

“Just this once, I find myself agreeing with you.”

The thing about sacred places is that it was very hard to tell the passage of time. Weeks passed in a minute; seconds stretched into hours. The island of Delos seemed to exist in a constant state of sunrise and sunset. Only when Apollo left Percy’s side would he take the blindfold off. Every time, he was amazed by the periwinkle, begonia, and marigold painting the sky.

He wouldn’t be surprised if Apollo had manipulated it into those colors just for him when he knew he would be looking.

The sun god’s considerate nature had been a surprise to Percy. The first time he met Apollo, the only discernable personality trait he had was arrogance. Close behind that, was self-centered. It wasn’t hard to understand why that was considering the earth quite literally orbited about the sun. (That is, if you subscribed to mortal scientific explanations).

So, yes. His compassion and caring were a bit of a surprise. Percy had been half expecting his long-lasting crush to disappear after the first day was even through. Alas, it had only been solidified the moment Apollo took a twenty-minute break from their dinner to rant about how a poorly planned prank by Hermes directly led to the creation of rubber chickens and to the belief of the four humors.

“They are the true plague on humanity, Perseus! I swear it to your father! I turn my back for a second, thinking I’ll finally be free from my torment… and there it is! A post on Facebook by an anti-vax mother about how all you need to cure the flu is to rub onions on your forehead.” His face was flushed from his passionate tirade. Percy never thought a god could be so cute. “Apparently the onion is supposed to make your brain less phlegmatic.”

          “What about the rubber chickens?”

          “The rubber chickens?”

“Yeah, are you still haunted by them too?”

Apollo sniffed haughtily. “Really Perseus, you’re asking me if I’m tormented by a piece of rubber and plastic? Something created solely to be as annoying as possible?”

“I thought that’s what you were created for. To be as annoying as possible.” Percy laughed brightly as Apollo swatted at his shoulder.

“Watch yourself, I just might smite you.”

“And I’ll retaliate with a rubber chicken.”

His time on Delos had only made his love for Apollo grow. He wasn’t sure how to act on it, he wasn’t sure if he even should. There had been hints that the sun god reciprocated his feelings to some extent, but there was still a tentative air around the two of them. There was always a sort of pressure between the two, one that couldn’t be given a name.

“Perseus, would you like to go to the meadow tonight?”

Percy bit back a smile. “I would love to, Apollo.”

“Phoebus.”

“Pardon?”

“Phoebus. I want you to call me Phoebus,” Apollo said, taking Percy’s arm in his. From their time together, he had gotten quite skilled at guiding the other around. “My mother and Artemis call me Phoebus, and I want you too as well.”

Percy mouthed the name to himself quietly before deciding he quite liked the shape of Phoebus’ name on his tongue. “Alright, Phoebus. I would love to go to the meadow with you tonight.”

Gravel crunched softly under their feet as they traversed the distance to the meadow. Percy had only seen brief glimpses of the various blooms on the island but was always able to smell them. It was almost intoxicating how delicate and sweet the air was. Soon enough, the gravel gave way to soft grasses that tickled at their pairs’ ankles. Once they reached their desired spot, Apollo spread a blanket out and helped Percy take a seat.

“I’m glad I get to show you my home.”

Percy placed his hand in the space between them, his palm open and inviting. “I’m glad I get to spend this time with you.”

Percy could feel Apollo’s gaze, it was almost as heavy as the sky had been. Before long, Apollo’s larger hand slipped into his, intertwining their fingers. Percy felt his hand pulled up towards Apollo’s face where he delicately kissed each finger.

“Believe me, sunshine, the pleasure is all mine.”

Unlike before when such a comment would have reduced Percy a lightly blushing and slightly flustered mess, he simply reacted with a soft smile. His cheeks were painted a soft pink, but it wasn’t as strong of a reaction as before.

Apollo loved it just the same.

“Can I ask you a question?”

Percy could hear Apollo’s smirk as he said, “you just did.” Apollo lowered Percy’s hand from his lips. “But go ahead, ask away.”

“Why didn’t you try to get me to look at you?”

Percy felt Apollo shift next to him, letting go of his hand. Percy felt Apollo’s chest press against his shoulder before Apollo lightly shifted him so that Percy’s head rested on his bicep. “Asking me why I didn’t break your trust?”

“I suppose?” He let his muscles relax. It was hard not to relax when pressed against such a warm body, especially when knowing that there was no place he could be safer in. “I just want to know why you didn’t just let it happen when it could have.”

Apollo lightly began to card his fingers through Percy’s hair, his nails scratching light at his scalp with each pass. “Simple. I want you to have the choice.” This easy intimacy had only become too common between the two. Percy wasn’t sure if the sun god was this affectionate with everyone he cared about, be it friend or lover, but he would accept it either way. “Your devotion would mean nothing to me if there was no fire behind it.”

“What if I could offer you both? Devotion with passion?”

Silence hung between them heavily. Everything that had been building until that point was at the breaking point. The sweet air began to thicken and stilled.

“Don’t offer what you do not want to give, Perseus,” Apollo said with a strained tone.

“When have I ever offered to do something I didn’t want to?”

Percy could almost hear Apollo worrying at his lip. The sun god pressed even firmer against his side, draping his free arm over Percy’s waist, and pulling him close.

“I need you to say it, Perseus.”

Percy lost track of every though he ever had once he was in Apollo’s arms. Everything he had ever wanted was within reach and his to take, all he had to do was grab it.

“I love you, Phoebus. I love you and have for a very long time.”

Apollo’s breath stuck in his throat. “I…” He swallowed thickly. “I love you, Perseus Jackson. I love you more than is reasonable and more than is safe.” He pressed a light kiss to Percy’s temple.

“Can I look at you?”

“Will you regret it?”

Percy took one of Apollo’s hands and guided it back to the knot in the blindfold. “If it’s you, never.”

It Apollo had been a lesser man; his hands would have shaken. Years of silent devotion to a single mortal was finally coming to a head. He was finally getting what he had yearned for for so long. Apollo was a god, and not a regular man. His hands were steady and sure as he gently pulled the length of silk away and tossed it aside with little ceremony.

Percy’s eyes were still closed as his eyes were freed. A warm hand lightly caressed his cheek. Percy opened his eyes, seeing Apollo’s face for the first time in a short eternity. A smile softly stretched across his face.

“There you are sweetheart. You don’t know how much I’ve missed your eyes,” he said, lightly kissing Percy’s nose. “How do you feel?”

Percy lightly licked his lips. “If I’m being honest, I don’t feel different at all.” He wasn’t lying. He had been expecting to be so overwhelmed with desire and lust that he wouldn’t be able to think straight. He had been expecting the compulsion to give his everything to whoever he saw.

A genuine smile grew on Apollo’s face. “I guess that means you were already in love with me.” Apollo shifted so that he was balanced above the demigod, his arms bracketing him in. “I guess that means you’re already incredibly turned on by me.”

Percy had really missed Apollo’s smirk. It was both infuriating and unbelievably hot. “I…” Percy’s mind blanked as Apollo leaned in closer, their lips brushing lightly.

“Yes?” Apollos’ voice was low and dark. “Do you have something you want to say?”

“I… I can’t say you’re wrong.” Percy swallowed thickly. He reached his arms up and tentatively wrapped them around Apollo’s neck. “I also want to say that…” He licked his lips nervously. “I also want to say that I want you to be my first.”

Apollo closed the distance between their lips. Percy had kissed people before, but it didn’t compare to this in the slightest. Apollo’s lips were so warm, and his presence was so overwhelming, it was impossible to not become obsessed with his presence. A jolt of electricity raced down Percy’s spine once their hips pressed together.

He was almost embarrassed at how eager he was, but Apollo didn’t give him enough time to linger on any single thought.

The god’s tongue slipped into Percy’s mouth, no pressure or prompting needed. The trail of his touch left faintly burning embers of desire. He moaned softly as Apollo’s traced along the inside of his lips and teased his own tongue. His arms tightened around the god’s neck.

Apollo parted briefly, chuckling softly in amusement as Percy tried to chase after his lips. “Before we get too into anything, I just want to make sure that you want this. How far do you want to go?”

Percy leaned up and kissed along the god’s jaw. “I want this so much. Please, I want to go as far as you’ll take me.” Apollo groaned softly as Percy nipped at his earlobe.

“Then I hope you’re prepared to lose everything to this god.”

Apollo kissed him with a new passion, lightly working his bottom lip with teeth and tongue. It was rough enough to excite, gentle enough to sooth and tease. He rolled his hips firmly down against Percy’s, already knowing exactly what he would need to do to tear apart the demigod. He carded his fingers through his hair, gentle touch turning firm as he grabbed a handful of the raven locks.

He parted from Percy’s already swollen lips and worked his way down to his jaw, down to his neck. He didn’t let Percy get used to anything, gentle kisses were replaced by bites, bites were replaced by teasing licks, licks were replaced by a soft nibbling. Apollo’s grip on the demigod’s hair tightened upon hearing the breathy and strained moans slipping through his lips.

Percy didn’t notice as Apollo magicked their clothing away. Apollo was sure he wouldn’t mind.

Percy’s growing erection was pressed against the v of Apollo’s hip. Apollo reached down and pulled one of Percy’s thighs up towards his chest, rolling his hips and grinding down as he did.

“F-Fuck, Apollo.” Percy’s breath was strained. His face was flushed, and pupils blown wide. “You… you’re so good.” His hands traced down from Apollo’s back towards his chest. He shamelessly felt across his firm, muscled chest.

“Darling, my eyes are up here.”

Percy snorted, laughing softly. “Stop that.” He lightly ran his fingers along Apollo’s jaw. Despite it being an awkward position to attempt it, Percy did his best to roll his hips against Apollo’s. “Less talking, more moving.”

“Who’d have thought you’d be so needy,” Apollo said before happily doing as told. He was rewarded with Percy biting his lip and moaning softly. He was tempted to tease Percy for how reactive he was, but Apollo decided he liked having his head attached to his shoulders. “Just relax and let me make you feel good.”

Percy didn’t answer, letting the way his body relaxed into the sun god’s grip be his answer. Apollo’s lips attached themselves to his neck, sucking and nipping light marks into his tanned skin with fervor. He kissed a trail down slowly, skimming over Percy’s chest before attaching himself to one of his nipples. Apollo slowly swirled his tongue around before sucking lightly.

Percy completely gave up attempting to silence himself.

All Percy could do was squirm and moan as Apollo attacked his body, every inch of skin alight with a burning pleasure. A heady thrum of lust had long since taken over both of their bodies.

Apollo left a light trail of love bites down Percy’s body, marking the exact path that he had taken. He gripped Percy’s thighs firmly as he pushed them to Percy’s chest. His tongue slowly traced along the insides of the demigod’s thighs before he ducked his head down between his thighs.

Apollo’s breath was hot and heavy against Percy’s tip, burning up the little patience he had. A high and needy whine escaped from between his lips. All Apollo could do was chuckle lightly before licking up along the thick vein of Percy’s cock. Apollo had wanted to take his time, savoring every single inch of exposed skin, but he knew that Percy didn’t have the patience for it.

There would be more time to savor later.

Once the sun god reached the demigod’s tip, he hollowed out his cheeks and took the length in swiftly, swallowing around Percy easily. He relished in the choked off scream that left Percy’s abused lips.

Percy’s hands slid around to the god’s back, nails digging in deliciously. It wasn’t enough to draw ichor, but it was more than enough to leave faint scratches the stung lightly.

“F-Fuck, please Phoebus. I-I can’t…” Percy’s voice was breathy in a way Apollo had dreamed of hearing. “Please.”

Apollo bobbed his head firmly, quite enjoying the way Percy keened. He lightly traced a finger down towards Percy’s rim, allowing himself just a few moments to tease. The pad of his fingers pressed in lightly, mostly wanting to see how the demigod would react.

It was absolutely delicious. Percy whined needily and bucked his hips involuntarily. If Apollo was less experienced, he would have gagged from how Percy moved in his throat. Deciding not to waste any more time, Apollo magicked lube to coat his fingers before he gently worked the first finger in. Percy’s moans quieted for a few moments as he let himself grow used to the feeling.

Apollo swallowed around his length and bobbed his head more firmly, firmly distracting Percy from the strange feeling. Apollo felt Percy’s fingers tangle in his curls.

“I-I’m so close, please! Please, please, please,” Percy’s begging died out as Apollo pulled off fully. He lightly blew on Percy’s swollen tip before dragging his tongue painfully slow over his tip.

“Please what, Perseus? You’ll need to be more specific than that.”

“Please, Phoebus.” Apollo smirked at the way his voice cracked. “Please let m-me cum, I’m so close.”

“How should I make you cum?”

“H-How?”

“Mmmhm,” Apollo hummed softly as he slowly worked Percy open with a second finger. “Do you want me to use my mouth again? Or should I make you wait until you can cum on my cock?”

Percy bit his lower lip, eyebrows scrunching together. “I…” Apollo was absolutely delighted by the conflict that took over his features. “I wanna cum on your cock.”

Apollo smiled softly before leaning in and claiming Percy’s lips in a searing kiss. “An absolutely amazing choice, sweetheart.” He thrusted his fingers lightly, curling them ever so slightly. He knew it was cheating, but he allowed his healing magic to speed the process along.

He knew Percy would thank him in the long run.

“Don’t worry Perseus, I’ll give you anything and everything you could ever want. I’ll wake you up every morning with my lips around your cock if it’ll make you happy.”

Percy’s breath hitched as Apollo added a third finger. “I-I just might take you up on that.” A strained moan slipped through his lips. “B-But we can discuss that later.”

Percy’s eyes slid closed as his body relaxed around Apollo. He tilted his head back, barring his neck to Apollo. Apollo wasn’t one to ignore a gift, so he leaned in and firmly nipped at the exposed skin.

“Please, I need you in me.” Percy said in a broken voice, beginning to fuck himself onto Apollo’s fingers. “Please, please, please!”

Apollo decided then that hearing Percy beg was his new favorite thing in this forsaken world.

“Alright, alright.” Apollo slowly drew his fingers out, wiping them off. He took care lubing up his length, not wanting a single thing to ruin Percy’s first time. “Just relax, sweetheart.” Apollo firmly massaged along Percy’s thighs as he gently pressed his tip in. The vision of Percy’s face twisting in pleasure as his head first pressed in would be seared in his mind for the coming decade.

He leaned in and lightly sucked Percy’s bottom lip into his mouth, abusing the already swollen skin even further. He ghosted his hand lightly over Percy’s swollen erection. Apollo took care to remember every single sound and sigh Percy made, memorizing exactly what to do create each reaction.

Percy’s fingers tangled in his hair, pulling just enough to make Apollo groan lowly. He took his time as he pushed in, but he wasn’t idle. Pre-cum spilled down Percy’s length, getting spread almost immediately by Apollo’s careful hands.

Apollo bottomed out before long, giving Percy the relief he needed. The god granted the demigod a couple moments to adjust before he rolled his hips. The pair moaned in tandem, breath mingling between them. Apollo kissed Percy fully, working his tongue into Percy’s eager mouth. He pulled his hips back almost fully before snapping forward. Apollo traced a hand up to Percy’s chest, teasing his nipples firmly. Percy moved his hips to meet every single thrust Apollo gave.

Apollo parted from the kiss, but their lips still brushed. “F-Fuck sweetheart, you feel amazing.” He was high on the feeling of the demigod around him. Even the most potent of aphrodisiacs had nothing on the natural reaction had to Percy. “You’re so good for me.”

Percy came with a soft cry the second Apollo’s fingers tightened around his member. The god couldn’t find it in himself to tease Percy for how fast he had lost himself, but rather, he savored the moment that Percy had given him. He savored the trust and love Percy had dedicated to Apollo.

Soon enough, Apollo found a steady rhythm. It wasn’t the fastest or hardest, but there would be enough time for primal and rough fucking later. For now, Apollo was more than eager to continue gentle love making.

Apollo’s hips snapped firmly against Percy’s ass. “Tell me how you feel, Percy.” He slowly licked a stripe up Percy’s neck.

Perhaps Apollo should have given his lover and moment of respite, a moment to recover from his orgasm, but that would make things too easy. He did enjoy watching him squirm. “S-So… so good.” Percy keened, bucking his hips harder. “So, so good. Don’t stop!”

“Oh, I won’t be done with you for a while, Perseus,” Apollo’s voice darkened slightly, letting his full lust show. He sped up his pace, forgetting momentarily about how he had planned on taking it easy on Percy. He found no complaint from his lover, his loud moans encouraging the change. “I’ll take you as many times as you’ll let me.”

Apollo received no response after that, Percy losing the capability of coherency. His hips never lost their desperate rolling motion, but his movements began to become more and more uncoordinated as he neared release again. Luckily for his younger lover, Apollo wasn’t far off himself.

“Let me hear you, I want to know how good you feel.” Apollo nipped at Percy’s earlobe. Percy whined loudly as Apollo’s fingers found his nipples again. Despite what he said, Percy made no attempt to respond. An orgasm gripped at the edges of his mind, so Apollo supposed it could be forgiven. Despite not giving an answer with words, Apollo already knew of the demigod’s pleasure from his symphony of moans and whines.

Apollo felt Percy’s fingers tighten in his hair once more, pulling a low moan from his throat. He used a single hand to lift Percy’s hips, shifting his angle until it was just right. Percy came with a loud cry of Apollo’s name, tightening deliciously around the sun god. All Apollo could do was groan, pumping his hips a few more times before he spilled himself.

Apollo rode out their orgasms, kissing along every exposed inch of Percy’s skin. He memorized every love bite and the way a dark flush painted Percy every shade. Percy’s breaths came in soft pants, his eyes just slightly out of focus as he slowly came down from his high.

Apollo placed one last gentle kiss to Percy’s nose before pulling out, a string of cum painting across Percy’s ass. “How was that, sunshine?” He pressed his lips against Percy’s temple as he shifted them to lay on their sides, facing each other.

Percy nuzzled close, pressing his face into Apollo’s broad chest. “Amazing,” he said with a slightly muffled voice. “But you already knew that.”

Apollo laughed softly. “I suppose I did.” He lightly ran his hand along Percy’s back, soothing the muscles until he was pliant. “How are you feeling? Think you’ll be able to handle another round?”

The demigod hummed softly. “Ask me again after a nap.” He tilted his head up enough to kiss Apollo’s chin.

“Alright, I can do that.”

The god wrapped his arms around his lover, drawing him close and holding him like he was the most precious thing. Which, if you asked Apollo, he was. He watched in amazement as Percy slowly drifted off, giving himself to the realms of Morpheus. His face relaxed and softened with sleep.

Apollo was completely gone for the demigod in his arms. But just this once, he wasn’t scared of love in the slightest. It was impossible to be scared of something so beautiful and sacred.

He was sure it would hurt in the future, but all good things cause pain eventually. He would just have to savor the pleasure while it lasted.
