Kyle was sitting on the couch trying to untangle a strand of lights but had somehow ended up wrapped in it instead. Somehow, it only added to how adorable he was. The Green Lantern was wearing an ugly holiday sweater with candy canes on it and reindeer antlers decked out with bells. On his feet were fuzzy green socks and if one were to squint it appeared Kyle was dusted in a light layer of glitter. “I feel ridiculous,” he said as he struggled.“Care to unwrap me?” Jason asked semi-flirtatiously. He had been put in charge of the ribbon that would be adorning the tree and much like Kyle, was literally enwrapped in his task.

Summary
- a modern setting no powers/no capes AU where jason was raised by talia after he decided that he'd stay with her instead of bruce when they broke up; bruce and talia had an established relationship when they decided to adopt dick and jason, but then a series of misunderstandings happened and talia decided it'd be better for them to part ways, and jason wanted to stay with her
- jason is basically damian's older brother in this, bruce doesn't know about damian's existence until the events of the main fic
- terry and matt make an appearance, they're respectively 16 and 13 and jason learns about them in the events of 'for forever'
- selina and bruce are married; selina's really trying her best with her stepchildren (plus she's pregnant with a baby helena)
- the batkids ages > dick: 29, jason: 26, tim: 21, cass: 21, terry: 16, matt: 13, damian: 13
