Summary
Zuko is a banished prince. He doesn't know why Father let him get picked in the Reaping, but he hopes that winning the Hunger Games will be enough for his father to take him back.
Katara is the last waterbender in District 7. Sokka is the son of the Chief. They both know they have to work together for one of them to survive.
Aang is the last airbender. He's also the Avatar, and he is furious at what's happened to the world in the last seventy-five years. But if he reveals himself, the world's last hope will be lost, so for now, he plays along with the Capitol's game.
They each have their destiny. But this is the Hunger Games, and unless they're willing to sacrifice their principles, their sanity, and their innocence, they won't make it out alive. At least, that's what the Capitol wants them to think...

“I used to wonder… what if things were different. What if the raid hadn’t happened, what if Maria hadn’t died, what if I’d been able to save her. But… if those things didn’t happen, I wouldn’t be who I am now. And I know that it’s stupid, given everything I am, that I’ve done, but I don’t want to change this. I’m okay with who I am.”
The therapist told him that was wonderful. Then she reminded him, patiently, that it wasn’t wrong to accept himself, and the conversation drifted to self-esteem, leaving the second half of Shadow’s thought unsaid.
I just wish Maria got the same chance.

Summary
One doesn’t live the life Sonic has without picking up… entanglements.
Take that time he faceplanted into Camelot. “King” was not a title he was expecting to get, nor was he sad to leave it behind when he was finally sent home. Leadership like that just wasn’t his style, and by the time Nimue opened the portal he was eager to return. And when a reformed wizard, who, notwithstanding her remaining control issues wanted to make up for past betrayal, wrapped a small spell around his ankle before he stepped through the portal, neither he nor anyone else was any the wiser.
(It’s not like it would be needed. The Knight of the Wind had a knack for defying the odds, for getting up no matter how many times the world struck him down. His world was in good hands. The spell was simply a precaution to assuage Merlina’s own worries. It was never meant to be triggered.)

Summary
I got into this lovely little webcomic recently, as an offshoot of my interest in Dungeons & Dragons in general – it’s extremely well-crafted in plot, worldbuilding and characterisation, and is very accessible even without being completely au fait with the 3.5 edition mechanics on which the comic’s world runs.
One of the interesting aspects of the comic is the main characters' poor build optimisation relative to their effectiveness. Now, I’m mainly used to Fifth Edition (pre-2024) mechanics, which are a lot less complicated than 3.5e mechanics (I tried to read the 3.5e Player’s Handbook and went cross-eyed from overload very quickly), which got me thinking – how would the Order’s builds translate into 5e? My thoughts are below!
Spoilers abound, because it’d be difficult to make the discussion remotely coherent otherwise XD

Maria, due to her disability, found good use in all kinds of mobility aids. Amongst them, was a wheelchair.
Shadow grew used to it, therefore, he found no shame when he found need in using a wheelchair of his own.
