After the Battle, Harry thinks he's left Hogwarts for good, but Minerva insists that all students return for an Eighth Year if they wish to sit for NEWTs in the spring, and Harry needs those NEWTs to go into the Aurors. Draco's just grateful not to be in Azkaban. Or the Manor. He's hoping he can steer clear of Potter this year and grapple with his own problems. Unfortunately for him, Potter appears to be one of those problems. And that's not even addressing the fact that Potter's got serious issues of his own, which Draco realises as he's forced to share an Eighth Year dormitory room and several classes with the Gryffindor Git. If only they can make it through the year without killing each other, it should be all right, shouldn't it?

M doesn’t bother answering James’ attempt at humor but instead continues in his point. “Since your return from the Skyfall operation, which was over a year ago I might add, you have not taken one day of leave, no holiday of which I'm aware. You haven’t rested the requisite 48 hour period between mission and report.”
James takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly.
“You are not a young man,” M says plainly. “Everyone, even James Bond, needs time to let wounds heal, both physical and mental. Pushing yourself is going to get you or someone else killed eventually.”
“So not another mission then?” James asks and moves to stand.

Or, James Bond is forced to take a few days off, runs into Q at a kebab shop, starts playing World of Warcraft, and takes a trip to Witney to meet Q's family (for reasons of national security, of course).

Q studies his reflection in the hotel room’s floor-length mirror. He turns sideways and back again, inspecting himself closely. Even with a critical eye, he can’t find much to complain about, and that’s saying something because he’s a famously nit-picky perfectionist at the best of times.
The suit fits him perfectly.

The compliment halts Bond in his tracks. It’s not Moneypenny’s sultry voice in his ear. Nor is it Tanner’s, with its warm, friendly professionalism.
Bond searches around the exterior of the hotel for cameras. One glints at him from above the entrance, reflecting the day’s sunlight back at him. It’s a hot summer afternoon in Dubrovnik, and he doesn’t have plans to kill anyone until at least tomorrow.
All in all, it’s a terrific day to be called good-looking, especially by his Quartermaster.

Which was how he ended up in his current situation, ankles bound to thighs, wrists to opposite elbows, soft rope tied in intricate knots decorating his skin in pretty diamond shapes. It was elaborate, and required quite a chunk of time, which was difficult when they only had a small amount of time together. But on the nights they could spare an entire night, they liked to play games.
