Summary
Danny Constantine dies suddenly, violently, and without meaning. A single bullet, no warning, no suffering, over a wallet and phone.
John Constantine feels the silence of their binding spell, and he runs.
Hell takes Danny because it always takes Constantines. Time stretches there, warps, rots. When he finally claws his way back out, it’s into his own corpse, already buried and still decaying.
Pieces of the body fail. Skin sloughs, hair comes out in clumps, the stench follows him everywhere. The longer Danny holds on, the less human he feels, and the more something else starts to look back from mirrors and reflective glass.
John Constantine, meanwhile, has erased himself from the world. By the time he’s dragged back into it, his son is walking around in a half-rotted body held together by magic, grief, and sheer refusal to stop existing.
Saving Danny doesn’t mean giving him his life back. It means killing what’s left of it. On purpose, this time.

Robbie Robertson hates everything about these weird heroes from the future. They're chaotic, loud, and have absolutely no sense of decorum. Even worse, the only person they'll listen to is his eight-year-old son.

Summary
Robert wasn't sure what he was expecting when he returned to his apartment that night, but it certainly wasn't to find a dishevelled teen standing in the middle of his living room, looking like he ran through all kinds of hell all whilst staring at him like a lost, wet stray.
Nor was he expecting for the two of them to just. Stare at each other for god knows how long. Felt like an hour but was probably closer to five minutes realistically.
After the events of Dispatch, Robert Robertson comes home the next night to discovered a dirty and injured teenager standing in the middle of his living room, and soon becomes a father figure for the kid who desperately needs good parental figures.
Meanwhile Danny Fenton who has been living on the streets for about a month after accidentally revealing himself as Danny Phantom to his parents and was currently being hunted by the GIW, is confused as hell on why some random office worker would just let him chill in his apartment after breaking in. Better than living on the streets at least. Plus, the guy's got a cute dog.
