The idea of explaining to the people that their work was gone- changed, and Midas, despite it being on them, had little to no control in that aspect.
Had no ability to keep it the same- to stop it from changing.

Camila was no stranger to her daughter presenting her with weird things.
Snake skins, rusted jewelry, mushrooms, even various bones. It was simply a part of being a parent for your child to come running up to you, exuberantly showing off whatever probably-diseased thing they found in the woods.
But that day, when Luz presented her latest discovery, she was far less enthused. And the subject was far more odd.
At first glance, it seemed to be a small bird. But then Camila noticed the clearly humanoid limbs, the worn clothes, and the even more scratched up skin. It was something straight out of one of her daughter’s books, but it was cradled plainly and solidly in said daughter’s hands. And getting its blood all over her.
