Summary
What a glorious sight they’d make, he and Akira two princes of chaos visiting devastation upon devastation unto the world, eye for pulpy eye and tooth for rotting tooth.

Summary
Maruki plays his ace in the hole, never expecting that Akira already knows.
The punchline is: Goro never expected that either.
(2/2 B Side, or: the AU where Akira figures out what his "wish" is before the deadline.)

Summary
The plan for Akira's junior year of high school was to keep his head down and his nose clean, but he hadn't counted on his new high school having more trouble than it was worth--and he specifically didn't plan on Akechi Goro, the haughty, machiavellian vice president of Shujin Academy's student council, dragging him face-first into political scandal and a series of encounters that would change his life.

Summary
No one died in the bowels of Shido's palace; the Phantom Thieves, plus one, took down the ship's captain, the complacent public, the Demiurge itself.
But for the conspiracy to be dismantled, someone had to take the fall.
Goro spent three years in juvenile hall, unmoored and deserted on a metaphorical island with no ship in sight. He never planned for a future beyond ruining the man who ruined him.
(The funny thing about futures is that they have their own way of finding you.)

Summary
Goro grits his teeth and grabs for his pillow, rolling onto his back and shoving it under his head. He can't sleep, body too flooded with adrenaline and mind too full of brainless, sentimental thought. He could go back to the Metaverse and let loose, really let loose, call on Loki to break his chains and let the bodies fly. There's a certain appeal to the thought in the way one considers a kitchen knife and all of its broad applications: intrusive, nauseating, unwanted, but fascinating all the same. The same way a traffic accident is fascinating: you can't help gaping in horrified awe at the spectacle and the promise of mangled corpses.
His shirt is riding up his stomach. Goro runs cold fingertips along the cinched waistband of his jersey pants and the exposed skin above it and shivers.

Summary
Ilya was good at noticing things about people, and he was good at understanding them. Shane was not. That was okay. Shane had developed his own way of getting to know Ilya. It involved a lot of inane questions and, more importantly, no longer involved condoms.

Summary
“Shane.” Ilya takes Shane’s head in his hands, squeezes his cheeks so that Shane looks puffy, absurd. Beloved. “I am saying that to me, even though you are retired, you will always be No. 1 hockey player. Fuck Wayne Gretzky.”
That’s what does it, as Ilya knew it would. Shane rears back, spluttering, outraged, trying not to laugh.
“Oh, I have committed blasphemy now. They will take back my citizenship, big crime, very sad.”
Shane smoothes his hands along Ilya’s calves, rests his fingertips on Ilya’s ankles. “Fuck Wayne Gretzky,” he says. He looks like he can’t believe what he’s saying. Ilya wonders, distantly, if he can get it on tape to play back to himself when things feel particularly bleak. “We can live in exile together. I don’t care. You’re my, my best, my second best hockey player forever too.”
--
Shane decides he has to retire. Ilya, of course, will go with him.
